staircase construction kit. Our gratings offer long-term pro-
tection against corrosion thanks to one of the most modern
hot-dip galvanising technologies in Europe (compliant with
DIN EN ISO 1461).

MEAstep XSL landingsMaterial Group ST
To complement our new MEAstep XSL range, we have now also developed a matching solu-tion for landings and intermediate landings. Here again ease of use, safety and sturdinessare integral to our standards. This results in a very uniform and appealing mesh pattern forthe user.
Thanks to a low weight, their installation and fitting are just as easy as the installation ofthe MEAstep XSL.
The continuous, uniform mesh pattern (available in mesh sizes 30/30 and 30/10) gives thestaircase builder unlimited and completely new design options. The attractive appearanceis compelling across the entire range.
MEAstep XSL landings and intermediate landings are fabricated from S 235 JR steel and hot-dip galvanised to DIN EN ISO 1461 in a full-immersion process.
In addition to standard sizes such as 600 x 1000, 800 x 1000, 1000 x 1000 and 1200 x 1000 theMEAstep XSL design is available in practically every conceivable shape and size, with butalso without an anti-slip nosing.

All steel parts are hot-dip galvanized to DIN EN ISO 1461; all bolts,nuts, washers and other small parts have been given a special coating and offer excellentcorrosion protection.
Every MEAstep staircase construction kit includes a single-sided balustrade (able to befitted to both sides), MEAstep XSL treads, standard, tread width 1000 mm x depth 270 mm,mesh size 30/30, all the required accessories, assembly parts, installation instructions,stackable special pallet box 2.40 m x 0.80 m.

The MEA Metal Applications costing process:
The prices for special gratings will be based on the following factors: • The total surface area that is required to fabricate the desired shape, plus the price for
straight or round cuts. • Gratings below 0.7 m2 and cuts are subject to surcharges • Toe plates, hinges, frames, substructures, locks, grating securing devices etc. can be
attached at a surcharge
Please supply MEA Metal Applications with the following information for your desired grating: • Surface finish type• Mesh size• Thickness and height of the supporting bar • Type of load (for foot or vehicular traffic; please specify the wheel load for a
drive-over grating) • Outer dimensions of grating or frame in mm• Direction of supporting bar (from support to support) • Attachments (as per drawing or sketch)• Grating fasteners (with or without)
