PRINTING DIRECT TO SUBSTRATE

ROLL TO ROLL PRINTING

Our flatbed UV printer allows us to print direct to flat surfaces up to 40mm thick, meaning we could take a door and print direct onto it! Most commonly we print direct to foamex, perspex and other specialist material. This printing process reduces costs as it allows shorter production times than normal large format printing. The maximum sheet size we can print to is 3050mm x 1600mm. Your prints can also be cut-to-shape on our router.

Our range of the latest HP latex ink, high-resolution printers allow us to utilise all continuous roll to roll materials available today. Many can be overlaminated for additional outdoor protection or combined with other media for special effects. Most materials can be cut-to-shape on our router or vinyl cutters.


FOAMEX DISPLAYSFoamex, a rigid plastic based material is a very popular choice for use within the exhibition industry, point of sale displays and short term signage. When it’s printed on directly from our flatbed printer the surface exhibits a wonderful satin finish. Thickness of foamex range from 3mm and 5mm for exhibition and POS displays through to 10mm and 19mm for various projects.

With the material’s strength and the UV ink properties, foamex is ideal for production of hard-wearing wall displays that may be susceptible to ongoing wear and tear.

As the UV curing ink is both waterproof and lightfast it is also popular for short term outdoor signage.

We print a wide range of PVC based banner materials, designed for outdoor promotions, exhibition wall coverings, back lit lightboxes and framed signage. we have a range of freestanding A frames designed to display your banners along with a wall mounted frame system, allowing you to change promotional messages. These can be constructed to any size and backlit by LED illumination, creating large lightboxes for maximum impact.

They are all printed with outdoor grade, lightfast inks onto a range of materials depending upon application. Many printed vinyls can be over laminated for additional outdoor protection in either gloss or textured laminate for specialised use.

FLAT COLOUR, FROSTED & OTHER SPECIALIST VINYLSSome projects only require a pre-coloured vinyl, frosted glass effect or other specialist vinyls. We offer a range of textured and specialised surfaces which are flame retardant, paper or fabric based and include gold or silver metallic surfaces for special effects.

The most popular A boards include:n BOOSTER A BOARD Available in a range of colours and sizes, the Booster

features a semi-circular top panel that can be branded with your logo on both sides. The standard graphic retention below is a printed poster behind a magnetic clear panel.

This can be upgraded to a printed foamex panel for locations where the A board can be subject to passing vandalism and removal of standard panels.

Available in A2 / A1 / A0 and 40 x 30” sizes.

n The ULTIMATE mat features individually printed woollen tufts, bonded together onto a rubber backing to form logos and images. These can be power washed and are ideal for use in heavy reception and office traffic areas.

n 1.5mm NITRIDE rubber backed mat - not as hard wearing as the Ultimate where the image is printed onto a

white cotton surface and heat bonded onto the rubber backing. Ideal for medium weight traffic.

n G FLOOR MAT for exhibition use where areas of the floor can be branded as required. G Floor is an extruded clear patterned vinyl where the image is printed onto the reverse and backed in white with a non-slip backing applied. As the image is hidden by a 2mm thick plastic surface it can never be damaged and the mats can be re-used.

LIGHTBOXESLightboxes brighten up your walls or rooms. We print and manufacture a range of wall mounted and freestanding lightboxes for internal and external use. These are internally illuminated by low voltage LED modules providing low power consumption combined with long term maintenance-free use.

Graphics are either printed fabric with sewn on silicon edging for interior lightbox use, or backlit PVC graphics attached to the frame for outdoor applications.

Frames and boxes can be powder coated to any RAL colour.

n For simple designs we contour cut from a range of self-coloured vinyls or specialist finishes like chrome or kevlar and fit.

n For all full colour designs, we print self adhesive vinyls utilising long life anti-fade inks and cut to shape. These vinyls can be monometic vinyl for flat surfaces or onto cast conformable vinyl for curved and intricate shapes. Both types will be laminated for additional protection with solvent based gloss film.


VEHICLE GRAPHICSWe can design, print, cut and fit a wide selection of single and full colour vehicle graphics ranging from small vans and vehicles, through to double-decker buses.

n We can also print designs onto 800 micron magnetic vinyl sheeting for removable applications.

n Printed to the highest photographic resolution possible, onto a heavy textured canvas material with lightfast inks, our canvas prints certainly bring walls and images to life.

n We wrap the image around a kiln dried, European pine exhibition stretcher frame, that incorporates a lip on the edge, preventing the wood showing through the canvas. These frames are 36mm deep and 70mm wide and have mitre cut expansion corners so your images will never warp over time.


CANVAS ARTCanvas art is great for turning bland walls to life. We produce a range of canvas art designed for your boardroom, reception area, offices or just for you!

n Trays are manufactured with an outdoor grade aluminium composite Dibond for long term use. These can have a full colour printed & laminated design, a self coloured Dibond tray with flat cut or raised lettering or a combination of all options.

n The trays are manufactured so they wrap around the sides of the 100mm square aluminium posts, which can also be powder coated to any RAL colour if required.

TOTEM SIGNSTotem signs are an increasingly popular option compared to a traditional panel and pole type. Totems, as the name implies, are vertical structures where the front and optional rear graphic tray folds around the posts effectively hiding them inside the structure.

n Changeable acrylic panels can be designed into the structure for additional promotional use.


n Panels are manufactured out of 3mm aluminium composite Dibond with full colour printed and laminated graphics or self coloured Dibond with flat cut lettering.

n Poles can be circular or square with dimensions in keeping with the final graphic size. They are white or grey as standard but can be powder coated to any RAL colour.


PANEL & POLE SIGNSPanel and pole are the more traditional type of sign, where the graphic panel has rails on the reverse so they can be attached to the poles with stainless steel clips. Panels can be any size up to 3m x 1.5m in one piece and can be in either portrait or horizontal formats.

n Panels can be cut to any shape or incorporate a shaped header.

n EXTERNAL SIGN TROUGHS Here low voltage powdered LED light troughs can

be located above the signage to provide downlight illumination at night. The troughs can be of any width by connecting various units together to span the entire signage and they can be powder coated in any RAL colour. Because the units project off the wall and face downwards light distribution is not even.

n HALO & FRONT LIT ILLUMINATION Individual built up letters and fret cut signage designs can

have LED modules built inside to provide either a front illumination light or rear halo effect. Flat cut individual letters can only have rear halo illumination. Because the LED modules are located inside the signage illumination is even throughout.

n Built up letters are chunky 3D types manufactured out of aluminium or acrylic with varying return depths. They can be powder coated to any RAL colour with solid or acrylic faces. Polished stainless steel, creating a chrome effect, is another popular option.

n All built-up letters can be internally lit with LED modules for either front face illumination or rear halo illumination. Flat cut letters can have halo, rear illumination.

n Flat cut letters are manufactured out of 3/5mm thick coloured acrylic, coloured or metallic dibond or foamex materials and are raised off the surface on 15mm spacers.


BUILT UP & FLAT CUT LETTERINGPPS design and manufacture a wide range of built up letters and logos and flat cut lettering. All are produced from a range of materials and finishes depending on your requirements.


SHOP SIGNS &HOARDING PANELSWe can create a wide range of options for your new shop sign from temporary use printed onto hard wearing foamex, through to long-term aluminium composite materials for construction site cladding.

These user-friendly displays are a logical progression from our extensive signage range and in addition can be used with many of our exhibition or modular stands.

n Displays are available in a range of sizes and styles with freestanding kiosks and wall mounted units. All feature commercial grade screen panels designed for 24/7 use combined with modern rounded table style aesthetics, buttonless tempered glass and super slim profiles, making them the most striking displays on the market today.

ROLLER BANNERSWe have four ranges of roller banner displays where the only difference is the base unit type and cost. In all cases the graphic is printed at high resolution onto a 220mic satin block out Opeljet material up to 1500mm wide. Our 2m & 2.4m wide banner stands come with a 500mic blockout PVC graphic.

FABRIC EXHIBITION & POS STANDSWe have an exciting NEW range of printed fabric display stands suitable for a multitude of purposes including exhibitions, POS and retail. These include back walls, counters, freestanding and hanging structures - please ask for full dedicated brochure.

All stands are constructed from a collection of lightweight tubes which are pre-numbered for ease of assembly. When erected, the double-sided printed fabric is stretched over the frame like a sock and zipped along the bottom.

Larger, more complex structures, can be installed by ourselves or self built after initial training.

PRINTED / DUPLICATED DVDS & USB STICKS

Our range of portable counters and lecterns can be branded with personalised graphics. All our counters are portable, functional and hardwearing so you just have to choose the style that best suits your business.

With our flatbed printing technology, we can print full colour onto standard 120mm DVDs, duplicate and supply on spindles or with customised packaging if required. Our UV printing produces a vivid print directly onto the face of the DVD and is not a sticker. Our duplication allows for transfer of video, music or data files or can be supplied printed only to allow for customer duplication as required.
