FARMFORWARD.
Bart HajovskyPresident, BH Genetics361.771.2755
IT’S ABOUT TAKING PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY & OWNERSHIPSince my name is on every bag, I’d have it no other way. I’m committed to ensuring everything we sell at BH Genetics brings leading-edge performance with old-school convenience and accessibility. If you need it, we’ll get it done. If you want to speak or visit with me personally, I’ll take the call — anywhere, anytime. We bring a level of partnership that’s unattainable for them — even with their reach and scale.
FIND OUT HOW THE BH GENETICS MODEL CAN CREATE OUTSTANDING RESULTS ON YOUR FARM. I’D LOVE TO TALK WITH YOU. BUT IT’S YOUR CALL.
SUCCESS IS STILL ABOUT HANDS-ON PARTNERSHIP. BELIEVE WE
When was the last time you picked up the phone and were able to call or text Werner Baumann, Dr. Kung Yam Sum or Andrew Liveris? Or, the last time one of these gentlemen stopped by for a visit on your farm to see how you were doing or how their products were helping you succeed?
Two are the CEOs of Bayer and Dow respectively while the third leads a chemistry conglomerate owned by the Chinese government. As American farmers, we’ve contributed to that success in one way or another. All three men are at the helm of companies that have produced strong traits and germplasm, underscoring performance across our entire industry.
AND PERFORMANCE IS MORE THAN GOOD GERMPLASM & TRAITSToday, great performance is more than just the seed. The irony is that the more technology enables an unprecedented level of on-farm knowledge, the more a direct relationship with each and every grower is needed. We value that connection. In fact, we’ve organized our entire company to ensure no customer is ever more than a phone call away from me personally — no matter where they may farm.
Success on every farm is about getting the right mix of hybrids with the right genetic diversity to handle whatever Mother Nature throws our way.
We’ve developed our PalletPro® Program to help make pallets and bulk boxes of BH Genetics more affordable while also providing unique, value-added benefits to our best growers and business partners. As a general rule, we feel we are best able to do that when we work with a customer to place no fewer than 2-5 hybrids on-farm, depending on the acreage. And, performance is greatly enhanced when we can work with a grower across multiple crops throughout the growing season.
Ask your BH Sales Representative or dealer for the latest program details.
When properly produced, Forage Sorghum can be a cost-effective alternative to corn silage for livestock with comparable yields.
While we pride ourselves on a level of access and partnership unattainable for seed brands owned by national trait providers, that doesn’t come at the expense of product quality and performance.
In fact, it’s exactly the opposite. Because of our relationships with individual growers, we are able to better partner to select and offer leading trait families from the providers we feel have the greatest ability to succeed where we farm and do business.
OUR BELIEFS
We believe our success is not self-achieved. It is always a function of working to put our partners and growers first. When we place their needs above our own, everyone wins — always.
FARM-FORWARD
To deliver on our farmer-first commitment, we must maintain our independence and accessibility to the germplasm we believe will help our growers be successful and, equally importantly, we must remain accessible to them at every level of the BH organization.
Farming should be fun, not complicated. Farm-forward is another pillar that supports our farmer-first philosophy. We’re committed to staying ahead of trends and innovation beyond the bag that work to improve farm management, crop health and yield potential.
We offer hybrids selected and bred to perform exceptionally well in the markets we serve. All of our seed corn is produced with the highest-quality standards from traits and technology partners with leading-edge track records including Genuity® products from Bayer and Agrisure® family products from Syngenta.
SEED CORN
We offer a range of conventional and traited seed corn products that are perfect for corn silage applications, providing the nutritional metrics you need to maximize dairy production.
CORN SILAGE
Sorghum is a staple of southern agriculture and a hallmark of our product portfolio. Our seed sorghum has been consistently recognized by growers for its quality and high-yield output.
SORGHUM
While Sorghum Sudangrass is primarily utilized for hay or grazing, it is also an excellent cover crop and an ideal way to rejuvenate soil and nutritional health as a rotational crop between cash crop plantings. Ask your BH representative or dealer about how our Sorghum Sudangrass offerings can improve your farm’s overall profitability.

CAUTION Sorghum-sudangrass and sorghum products can develop prussic acid or elevated nitrate levels under certain conditions. Avoid single, heavy nitrogen applications, especially prior to or during drought periods. Do not graze very young plants, plants recovering from drought, or plants damaged by a frost or freeze.
CAUTION Hybrid pearl millet should not be harvested or grazed lower than 6-8 inch-es above ground level. Cutting or grazing to heights below this threshold will result in greatly reduced regrowth of the crop.
