Henry Shaw has always been a

family firm. Founded by Henry

Shaw in 1799, the company was initially

set up as a manufacturer of wrought nails, rivets & chains. The business was run by Henry’s descendants until

the First World War when both Shaw brothers were lost in action. Their partner, Arthur Lambert then purchased

the company and four generations of the Lambert family have guided the company ever since. Today as Henry

Shaw begins a third century of continuous service it has become one of the UK’s largest trade suppliers of

screws, fixings, bolts, nails, ironmongery & fencing products.
