products a firm sells under a product line .o Product Line Depth—total number of items

under each brand in the line in terms of variants, shades, models, pack sizes etc.

o Product Consistency—the uniformity of products. refers to how closely related the various product lines are in end use, production requirements, distribution channels, or some other way
