The Beckhoff product range covers all the components required for the automation of your process, including PC-based control, remote I/O level for all common signal types and bus systems, and high-quality, sunlight-viewable IP 65 Control Panels.
Sensors from zone 1/21 can optionally be connected via Ex d/Ex e connection techno-logy or via suitable isolated barriers, if in-trinsically safe sensors are used. In addition, the compact and space-saving EJ plug-in module system is available for installation in Ex d housings, for data sampling directly in zone 1/21.
For use in zone 2/22, in addition to IP 20- rated Bus Terminals for control cabinet instal-lation, Beckhoff also offers IP 67-protected modules for direct installation in process environments. For use in harsh environmen-tal conditions, Beckhoff offers products with increased temperature range and optional coating. All components for zone 2/22 are tested by external certification authorities.
Intrinsically safe sensors and actuators from zone 0/20 can be connected toBeckhoff components in zone 1/21 (Ex d), zone 2/22 and the safe zone via isolated barriers.
