All new procedures and processes should be checked in a ‘Test’ environment before being applied to the ‘Live’ business system. Note that fields marked are mandatory and must have data entered. When commissioning a new module please note that the parameters will need to be set, and reference should be made to datasheet SYS101, System Manager – Module Parameter Settings

Product Price Lists

To open the Product Price Lists Manager, select ‘Product’ Module then select ‘Utilities’ > ‘Product Price Lists’ option.

1. Adding a Price List a.) To add a Price List on the Product Price Lists Manager, right-click anywhere on the grid then select ‘Add

New Price List’ from the drop-down menu.

b.) This will open Add New Price List Form, fill in the required details:

Price List Details:

• Name – Enter a free text name for the Price List.

• Description – Enter a free text description for the Price List.

• Expiry Date – Enter/Select a date from the drop-down calendar for when the price expires.

• Currency – Select a currency from the drop-down menu.

c.) To add Products, right-click anywhere the Products grid. There are 2 options:

❖ Add Price List Product – Adds a product individually.

i. Select ‘Add Price List Product’ from the drop-down menu.

ii. This will open Add New Price List Form, select a Product from the drop-down menu and enter a Base Price for the Product. The base price should be in the currency you selected on the header.

iii. To add Price Breaks, select on the Price Break Grid and amend the Quantity, Price and

Remark details as required.

iv. To delete Price Breaks select and right-click the Price Break then select ‘Delete Price Break’ from the drop-down menu.

v. This will open a confirmation form, select ‘Yes’ to delete the Price Break.

vi. Once complete, select ‘Save’.

vii. This will save the Product on the Products grid and the display the Price breaks for the Product on the Price Breaks grid.

❖ Add All Products In Product Group – Adds all the Products from the selected Product Group.

i. Select a Product Group from the drop-down menu.

ii. This will add the Products from the Product Group on the grid. Edit the Products separately

to enter the Base Price for each one and Price Breaks.

d.) To edit Price List Products, select and right-click the Product Price List then select ‘Edit Price List

Product’ from the drop-down menu.

e.) This will open the selected Product Price List Form, amend the required details. Once complete, select ‘Save’.

f.) To remove Price List Products, select and right-click the Product Price List then select ‘Remove Price List Product’ from the drop-down menu.

g.) This will open a confirmation form, select ‘Yes’ to remove the Product from the Price List.

h.) Once complete, select ‘Save’.

i.) This will add the Price List on the grid.

1.1. Importing Price Lists a.) To Import Price Lists, select Import Price Lists from the taskbar.

b.) This will open Import Price List Form, select ‘Browse’. ;

c.) This will open the window explorer form, search for the Price List file required then select ‘Open’.

d.) The fields’ details will now be available to select. Select ‘CSV File contains Column Headers’ and this will

display the header names.

e.) Once complete, select ‘Import’.

f.) This will open a warning form, select ‘Yes’ to replace all existing price list data.

g.) This pop-up a message confirming the import, select ‘OK’.

h.) The imported Price List Products will be added on the Products grid.

1.2. Exporting Price Lists a.) To Export Price Lists, select ‘Export Price List’ from the taskbar.

b.) This will open the window explorer form, find a destination then enter file name. Once complete, select

2. Editing a Price List (Note: Changes made to a Price List will not affect any assigned to a Sales Order until the Selling Price or Price List on the Saes Order Line and been amended.) a.) To edit a Price List on the Product Price List Manager, select and right-click the Price List then select

‘Edit Price List’ from the drop-down menu.

b.) This will open Edit Price List Form, amend the required details. Once complete, select ‘Save’.

3. Deleting a Price List (Note: Price Lists cannot be deleting while being used on a Sales Order.) a.) To delete a Price List on the Product Price List Manager, select and right-click the Price List then select

‘Delete Price List’ from the drop-down menu.

b.) This will open a confirmation form, select ‘Yes’ to delete the Price List.

4. Creating a Price List Report a.) To create a Price List Report on the Product Price List Manager, select and right-click the Price List then

select ‘Price List Report’. There are three options to select from:

• Create – This will add the report to the Print Spooler.

• View – This will open a preview of the report and add the report to the Print Spooler.

• Print – This will open the Print Form and add the report to the Print Spooler.

b.) To print the Price List report after viewing /creating select ‘Print Spooler’ from the toolbar.

c.) This will open Spooled Report Files Form, select the Price List Report from the grid and select ‘Print’.

d.) This will open Print Form, select a printer and select ‘Print’.
