Omega Foam-Ply® panels are an excellent choice for low cost retrofit windowapplications. They feature an insulating polystyrene or polyisocyanurate core and have an overallpanel thickness of 5/8" – 3 1/2" (16-89 mm), 1" thick (25 mm) being typical. Manufactured to fit standard insulating and storefront extrusions, the panels provide a decorative, yet exceptionallystrong surface with excellent wind and impact resistance. Omega Foam-Ply can be cut on-site with standard carpentry tools and installed easily at a very low cost. All panels are masked to protectthem throughout their journey from Laminators’ factory to distributors to the fabrication and installation-site.

n For long-lasting performance; prevent water intrusion by caulking properlyOmega Foam-Ply panels may be damaged by water intrusion. Hardboard stabilizers as well as somefoams will absorb water causing unsightly swelling, corroding of face metals, and a loss in R-value.Panels must be properly sealed to prevent damage. Dissimilar metals in contact cause electrolysis.Provide adequate separation between aluminum panel faces and backs and other metals.

n Typical applications include:

Panels feature an insulating core of Polyisocyanurate (ISO) or Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam. Exterior-gradehardboard stabilizers provide an exceptionally strong surface. Finished aluminum panels can be ordered in asmooth or stucco-embossed finish in 5/8" to 3 1/2" thickness.

OMEGA-PLY®

www.LaminatorsInc.com

Omega-Ply® panels provide a decorative accent for fascias, soffits, andstorefronts. High impact-resistant plywood or hardboard core provides exceptional strength and rigidity. Panels are easy to handle and install at a very low cost using extruded moldings. Panelsare available in smooth or stucco-embossed finishes with a variety of colors to choose from. Unlikeplastic cores, the wood cores of Omega-Ply panels absorb water; consequently, special attentionto caulking is essential for a long-lasting, high-quality appearance.

Omega-Ply panels provide a decorative, yet exceptionally strong and durable surface with excellentwind and impact resistance. Although each panel contains a rigid, wood core, a 4 x 8-foot panelweighs less than 40 pounds.

Panels can be cut on-site with standard carpentry tools. Traditional, one-piece moldings are recommended for use with Omega-Ply panels; however, panels can be installed with two-piece moldings if discussions with Laminators confirms their applicability. All panels are masked to protect them throughout their journey from Laminators’ factory to distributors to the fabricationand installation-site.

Using Laminators’ durable, one-piece moldings, no prefabrication, shop drawings, or expensive engineering studies are needed. During panel production, cold pressing improves flatness of the panels when installed... a very flat, uniform surface is achieved for a very low, total installed cost.

n Typical applications include:

A painted aluminum face bonded to an exterior-grade plywood core to provide an exceptionally strong surface. Amill finish or painted aluminum backer completes the panel.

INSTALLATION SYSTEMS

www.LaminatorsInc.com

Laminators offers five different panel installation systems to give you the look you need at the budgeted cost you require. Panels can be measured and cut at the job site... no prefabrication or comprehensive shop drawings are necessary. Special panel lengths and widths canbe ordered to minimize waste and reduce labor and materials expenses.

HighestCost

1-Piece, 2-Piece, Clip & Caulk Omega-Flex Rout & ReturnTight-Fit Molding Snap-Fit Molding Curve

Installation System Cost Comparison

Panel installation is easy using Laminators’ durable, one-piece moldings. A traditional, yet high-tech appearance is obtained at an affordablecost. Both “H” and “reveal H” moldings are available. Unique effects can be obtained by combining our various installation systems.

Maintenance costs are low without concerns for water intrusion with Omega-Lite panels. Installation of competitive molding systems canbe as much as twice the cost.

n 1-Piece, Tight-Fit Molding

You’ll like the contemporary look and the ease of “snap-fit” installation. Color-matched or contrasted aluminum molding snaps into placecovering fastener heads and caulk beads. Both flat and reveal effects are easily obtained to give you the appearance you need at low cost.

All molding bases can be attached to a wall surface prior to panel placement, compared to other systems that require installation of molding for one panel at a time. Two-piece moldings are easily combined with other systems to provide a variety of design options.

n 2-Piece, Snap-Fit Molding

INSTALLATION SYSTEMS

n Clip & CaulkTM

You get a sophisticated, high-tech look, with this installation system. Prefabricated panels can be panned on-site using standard carpentry tools to give a solid, finished appearance.

Excellent strength and a “deep-reveal” appearance are obtained for commercial and institutional installations. Rout & Return can be combined with other installation systems for a more economical, total installed cost.

n Rout & Return

Laminators has developed our unique Clip & Caulk system that greatly reduces the total installed cost for ACM panels. This easy, field-provenmethod is the choice of architects and installers who are looking for a very flat look without visible fasteners at the lowest installation cost.Panels can be cut on-site with few peripheral accessories needed for installation. You get a “rout & return” look for about half the cost.

Color-matched caulk gives a beautiful monochromatic look; contrasting caulk can be used with eye-pleasing results.

Use Clip & Caulk in combination with masonry, glass, one-piece, or two-piece extruded molding systems or by itself. You’ll be pleased with theflexibility, the appearance, and especially the cost.

Typically, radial panel installations require costly engineering, shop fabrication, and difficult installation.Omega-Flex panels make suchapplications easy and inexpensive without sacrificing beauty; however, special panel configurations are required. Flex panels will conformto the curved shape of the structural support system without costly off-site roll-forming. Panels fit correctly avoiding any installation delayscaused by imprecise measurements. Omega-Flex panels must be installed with 1-piece, tight-fit moldings.

The Clip & Caulk installation system can be used in conjunction with Omega-Flex panel installations.
