Planning my magazinePlanning my magazine

I started my magazine planning off by making a spider diagram with my initial ideas on for each page, what type of magazine it is and what the magazine will contain. I have sorted out what age the audience is and I have researched what they are interested in and looked at other magazines with the same target audience to get a good idea of what mine should be like.

I have made plans of each page. I have put whereabouts the text and the images will go on the pages. I have also put where things such as the barcode go & the date ect.

Taking my photosTaking my photos I took a lot of photos for each model/models that I have put on my magazine to make sure I had a good choice of photos to choose from and different shots from different angles or with different backgrounds. For quite a few of my photo’s I used the green screen and lighting in the media suite. This is because I don’t need a background for these photos and they will be cut out on Photoshop. For another set of photos I used a skate park for the model to pose in. I used this because of the brightly coloured backgrounds/graffiti. These set of photos were not cut out on Photoshop and the background was used on the front cover and one in the double page spread.
