called me “deranged”. They called me “at three in the morning”! But they
were right!

Messages on Home Improvement TV Shows. But I proved them wrong!
What? You want the proof? Well, too bad! You can’t handle the Proof! Because it involves Quantum Physics! Which I don’t understand! I had to
INVENT numbers for it to work! That’s just how complicated it is!

Johnny Tremain is set during the Revolutionary War. The Revolutionary War took place in the colonial days of the United
States of America.
During this time period, Britain was expanding and setting up little colonies
everywhere around the world.
Dude! We totally rule the world!
Britain wasn’t really a very fair parent to her child colonies. She
taxed them, even though they didn’t have any say in how they
were taxed.
America, angered by the unfair things that Britain did to it, broke off from Britain and declared war
on Britain.
If you are interested in learning more above the Revolutionary
War, I’d suggest you drink a cup of coffee before Social Studies.
The main Character in my book is named Johnny
Tremain.
He is a young boy around the age of 14, and an excellent silver smith apprentice. He lives in
Boston, Massachusetts.
That’s not what I meant...
Although he is a good apprentice, the family he is apprenticed to is not very well
off. However, he has a good future looming.
He works with two other apprentices, Dove and Dusty. Dove is pale-faced, fat, weak, and a jerk who, despite being two years older than Johnny, gets bullied by the
young apprentice.

All was going well in Johnny’s life until a horrible thing happened: His right hand was
crippled. It started when a rich merchant ordered a silver object to be forged. Johnny, going against
religious rules, worked on the Sabbath day. He was not careful in his rush, and Dove, taking
advantage of this fact, gave him a broken Crucible. This led to him spilling molten hot silver onto his right hand. When the burn had healed, two of his right fingers were burned together, effectively crippling him for life.
Everything in his world went wrong. He lost his apprenticeship and he was kicked out of the
family’s home.
It was then that Johnny remembered his mother’s last command:
“If everyone, including god, has stopped caring for you, then go to your uncles house, for he is
rich and can help you. But only as a last resort!”
I am god. I have stopped caring about Johnny
Tremain.
As proof of his heritage, his mother had given him a silver cup that was
in the family.
He planned to use this cup to join with his lineage.
