Performance to Budget
At McLane Company Tim was able to drive productivity metrics in warehouse and transportation operations that contributed to a reduction of operating expenses, increasing customer service levels which included a 99% on time delivery performance. Tim has performed favorably to budget performance which included cost reduction initiatives.
Project Management and Operational Innovation
Tim was the pioneer in McLane Company to transform the first warehouse operation to a high velocity pick to belt sortation system. This high profile $6.5 million project involved multi-department coordination efforts from inception to full seamless implementation. After successful proof of concept this new adopted technology was incorporated into other McLane divisions across the United States.
Large Account Management
Tim’s responsibilities included assistance in sustainable sales growth, collaboration with key Walmart Logistics personnel and developed synergies with Walmart Transportation to reduce CHEP’s annual transportation costs by $250K. Accountable for negotiating national retail pharmacy customers supply agreements for McKesson Reverse Logistics and bring tangible value to our customers while growing EBIT for McKesson. Additional responsibilities entail review and negotiation of return good policies with major pharmaceutical suppliers
Scope of Responsibilities
At multiple organizations Tim has managed staffs up to 500 employees with annual operating budgets exceeding $15 million servicing 3,000 customers in multiple states.
