Researched and developed alternative meals to be served in the field, in partnership with Snap Fresh/Qantas, now producing approx. 150,000 per annum

Designed and rolled out SSDS Health Eating concept ‘Smart Fuel’. This resulted in 20% of total volume preferring healthier options.

Developed and rolled out training program for Chefs – Food Focus. This improved chef skill levels and improved retention.

Turned 20% compliance in procurement to 90% and increased rebates by $750,000.00 per year.

Rationalised suppliers and implemented contracts to source best market deals and protect price increases.

Successfully transitioned three new contracts with systems and personnel. Effectively managed change involved in transitioning in and out of contracts.

Developed a specialised training program for the development of Mess Managers and the protocols within Defence.

Ran annual Hospitality Conferences for the development of Senior Hospitality Managers.

Introduced environmentally friendly innovations into kitchen operations – recycle tubs and crates for produce and bulk oil systems.
