Fortimo Downlight Led (DLM) di Philips è l’ultimo prodotto di questa evoluzione tecnologica appli-cata alle sorgenti luminose Led. Si tratta di un modulo altamente innovativo e performante, in grado di soddisfare anche le più esigenti richie-ste di ambientazione e applicazione.I nuovi RA18 e RA23 Dixit Led offrono la possi-bilità di scegliere tra tre diversi livelli di flusso luminoso, 1100, 2000 e 3000 lumen, in versio-ne RGB e dimmerabile (DALI – Digital Addres-sable Lighting Interface), e di avere differenti temperature di colore, 3000°K e 4000°K.

COS’E’ FORTIMO?

Fortimo DLM è un modulo Led con tecnologia al fosforo remoto. Sviluppato da Philips, rappre-senta un’assoluta evoluzione nel mondo dei Led per efficienza energetica, qualità della resa cro-matica e rendimento luminoso.

VANTAGGI

Il modulo Fortimo DLM Led è particolarmente so-lido e robusto, e per questo garantisce un’elevata affidabilità nel tempo. Ha un’accensione imme-diata, senza limiti di frequenza nel tempo e azzera completamente il costo di manutenzione grazie alla lunga durata di funzionamento (50.000 ore, equivalenti a un periodo di circa 10/12 anni). Il basso livello di calore permette di controllare e ridurre il carico sul condizionamento e, di conse-guenza, il dimensionamento degli impianti di raf-freddamento.La totale assenza di raggi ultravioletti (UV) e in-frarossi (IR), dannosi per la conservazione delle merci e dei cibi freschi, consente di esaltare va-lori essenziali come la qualità e la freschezza grazie alla possibilità di illuminazione ravvicinata.Il modulo non contiene mercurio e soddisfa an-che i criteri più severi di sostenibilità ecologica.

In recent years our range of RA professional

downlights has been increasingly modernized to

stay in line with the needs of the lighting market.

Today, the technological development applied to

Led light sources has reached a turning point:

Fortimo Downlight Led (DLM) by Philips.

The module used inside our RA downlights has

made it possible to expand the existing range to

create new atmospheres and applications sui-

ted to meet a wide variety of needs.

The new RA18 and RA23 Dixit Led are offered

with the possibility to choose among three diffe-

rent levels of luminous flux, 1100, 2000, and

3000 lumen, in RGB version and dimmable

(DALI – Digital Addressable Lighting Interface),

and with the possibility to have different colour

temperatures, between 3000°K and 4000°K.

WHAT IS FORTIMO?

Fortimo is a Led module, developed by Philips,

with remote phosphor technology. An absolute

evolution in the world of Leds that enables an

important leap forward for energy efficiency, co-

lour rendering quality, and light output.

BENEFITS

The Fortimo Led DLM module ensures the

end user almost zero maintenance costs

thanks to its long life (50000 hours, equal to

10/12 years): it is sturdy and robust, provi-

ding long term reliability.

It turns on immediately, without frequency li-

mits over time.

The low level of heat makes it possible to

control and reduce the load on conditioning

and, accordingly, the design of the cooling

systems.

With no ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) rays,

harmful for the preservation of goods and

fresh food, it makes it possible to bring out

important values such as quality and fre-

shness with close-up lighting.

The module is environmentally friendly and

does not contain mercury.


RISPARMIO ENERGETICO

Gli apparecchi RA Dixit Led consentono una si-gnificativa riduzione dei consumi energetici. La tabella è relativa all’installazione di apparecchi in locali di uguali dimensioni: la quantità di appa-recchi utilizzati è finalizzata a ottenere il medesi-mo valore di illuminamento medio di 300 lux.

Il RA Dixit Led 2000 lumen ha un rendimento ef-fettivo (1860 lumen) superiore del 9% rispetto al 2x26W (1692 lumen): ciò consente un utilizzo inferiore di apparecchi e un risparmio energetico di circa il 29% (37W contro 52W di potenza).

ENERGY SAVING

RA Dixit Led fixtures represent a valid contribu-

tion to cutting down on energy consumption.

The table regards the installation of fixtures in

rooms of the same size: the amount of fixtures

used is designed to achieve the same value of

average lighting of 300 lux.

The actual efficiency (1860 lumen) of RA Dixit

Led 2000 lumen is 9% greater than 2x26W

(1692 lumen): this means less use of fixtures

and about 29% in energy savings (37W versus

52W of power).

VARIOUS APPLICATIONS

The versatile Ra Dixit Led is an ideal and effi-

TECNOLOGIA

RA 18 e RA 23 Dixit Led utilizzano la tecnologia al fosforo remoto dei led Fortimo Philips applicata a un diffusore di tipo lambertiano. Si ottiene così una distribuzione della luce di pari intensità in tutte le direzioni, oltre a un’elevata efficienza luminosa.Il modulo Fortimo è composto da emettitori che generano radiazioni di luce blu, posti all’interno di una camera di diffusione: uno schermo diffu-sore giallo al fosforo, a chiusura della stessa, trasforma la luce da blu a bianca.

DISSIPAZIONE DI CALORE

Nelle lampade tradizionali, l’energia termica si disperde quasi totalmente per radiazione. I Led dissipano l’energia in eccesso per conduzione. Il perfetto contatto tra il guscio esterno in allumi-nio e lo speciale dissipatore di calore lamellare, consentono a Fortimo di garantire funzionalità, flusso, efficienza luminosa e lunga durata.

RAFFREDDAMENTO ATTIVO

Per garantire funzionalità e durata ottimali della sorgente Led è fondamentale disperdere il calo-re generato per mezzo di un adeguato dispositi-vo di raffreddamento.Agli incassi RA Dixit Led, nelle versioni a 2000 e 3000 lumen, è applicata un’avanzata tecnologia di raffreddamento attivo: un nuovo sistema con caratteristiche di durata e affidabilità pari a quel-le della sorgente luminosa Led Fortimo. Il dispositivo si avvale di una membrana che, oscil-lando ad altissima velocità, genera una pulsante e forzata turbolenza d’aria verso le alette del dissipa-tore termico, consentendo la dissipazione in totale silenzio del calore generato dal modulo Led.

TECHNOLOGY

RA18 and RA23 Dixit Led use the remote phos-

phor technology of Philips Fortimo Leds applied

to a Lambertian diffuser to obtain light distribu-

tion with equal intensity in all directions, which

results in high luminous efficiency.

The Fortimo module is composed of emitters

that generate blue light radiation, placed inside a

diffusion chamber: a yellow phosphor diffusion

screen, upon closing, transforms the light from

blue to white.

HEAT LOSS

In conventional lamp thermal energy is lost al-

most entirely via radiation. The Leds dissipate

excess energy via conduction.

The perfect contact between the aluminium ex-

terior shell and the special lamellar heat sink, al-

low Fortimo to ensure functionality, flow, lumi-

nous efficiency, and long-life.

ACTIVE COOLING

To ensure optimal functionality and durability of

the Led source it is very important that the heat

generated is dispersed by means of a suitable

cooling device.

On RA Dixit Led downlights, in the 2000 and

3000 lumen versions, an advanced cooling

technology device has been applied: a new sy-

stem with durable and reliable features equal to

those of the Fortimo Led light source.

The device uses a diaphragm which, through

high speed oscillation, generates pulsating and

forced air turbulence towards the heat sink fins,

enabling dissipation of the heat generated by the

Led module in total silence.

MONTAGGIO RAPIDO

I nostri incassi sono molto semplici da montare in controsoffitti con spessore variabile da 1 a 30mm. Il sistema di fissaggio Rapido a molle consente di applicare e rimuovere l’apparecchio senza causare danni, anche nel caso di delicati controsoffitti in fibra minerale.

QUICK INSTALLATION

Our downlights are very easy to install in false

ceilings with thicknesses ranging from 1 to 30

mm. The Rapido spring system enables the fix-

ture to be installed and removed without causing

damage, even in the case of soft mineral fibre

false ceilings.


COMFORT LUMINOSO

La gamma RA Dixit Led utilizza i nuovissimi rifletto-ri a superficie conica sfaccettata Visual Plus, svi-luppati dallo Studio Tecnico Ivela, che si caratteriz-zano per un efficace controllo del fascio luminoso. L’elevato rendimento luminoso (94%) della gam-ma RA Dixit Led si coniuga con contenuti livelli di luminanza e bassi valori di abbagliamento UGR (Unified Glare Rating) <19, consentendo quindi un eccellente comfort visivo.

RESA CROMATICA

Il colore di un oggetto dipende dalla luce che lo illumina. L’indice di resa del colore CRI (Co-lor Rendering Index) di una sorgente luminosa rappresenta l’effetto che tale sorgente ha sull’apparenza del colore, ed esprime dei valo-ri da 0 a 100; 100 rappresenta la resa croma-tica di una sorgente la cui luce non altera la percezione dei colori.RA 18 e RA 23 Dixit Led hanno un CRI > 80 e una temperatura di colore di 3000°K oppure 4000°K, e mantengono la resa cromatica viva e brillante per tutta la durata dell’apparecchio.

LUMINOUS COMFORT

The RA Dixit LED range uses the latest Visual

Plus reflectors with faceted conical surfaces, de-

veloped by the Ivela Technical Studio, which are

characterised by the effective control of the lumi-

nous beam.

The high light efficiency (94%) of the RA Dixit Led

range is combined with moderate luminance le-

vels, low glare rating UGR (Unified Glare Rating)

<19, for excellent visual comfort.

COLOUR RENDERING

The colour of an object depends on the light source

lighting it. The colour rendering index (CRI, Colour

Rendering Index) of a light source represents the

effect that the light source has on the appearance of

an objects colour. The colour rendering index is ex-

pressed as a rating from 0 to 100, where 100 repre-

sents the colour rendering of a source where the

light does not change the perception of colours.

RA 18 and RA 23 Dixit Led have a CRI colour

rendering index > 80 and a colour temperature of

3000°K or 4000°K, maintaining colour rendering

lively and brilliant for the entire life of the fixture.

RA DIXIT LED MODALITÀ DALI

DALI è un sistema di programmazione luminosa con cui gli apparecchi dotati di componentistica DALI possono essere comandati singolarmente. In questo modo si garantisce, oltre al massimo com-fort visivo, anche un elevato risparmio energetico. DALI consente una serie di funzioni quali il rileva-mento della presenza, l’accensione comandata at-traverso infrarossi, la gestione della luce diurna, l’im-postazione e la programmazione oraria.I Ra Dixit Led possono essere facilmente impie-gati all’interno di un sistema che prevede l’utilizzo contemporaneo di un elevato numero di apparec-chi, per una gestione economica dell’illuminazio-ne o per realizzare particolari scenografie.

RA DIXIT LED MODALITÀ RGB

Il Ra Dixit Led in versione RGB, grazie all’utilizzo di un dispositivo di rete DMX permette di creare suggestive atmosfere attraverso l’individuazione della giusta sfumatura di colore tra le molte sele-zionabili e la regolazione dell’intensità e della to-nalità della luce.

RA DIXIT LED DALI MODE

DALI is a lighting programming system. Devices

equipped with DALI components can be indivi-

dually controlled.

This means not only energy savings but also

maximum visual comfort. DALI enables a series

of functions such as presence detection, infra-

red controlled light switch, night time light, set-

tings, and timer management.

Ra Dixit Led can be easily used within a system

that includes the use of a high number of fixtures

at the same time for efficient lighting manage-

ment or to create unique backdrops.

RA DIXIT LED RGB MODE

The RGB version of Ra Dixit Led, using a DMX

network device, makes it possible to create an

evocative atmosphere through a variety of co-

lour shades to choose from and by adjusting the

intensity and hue of the light.
