Background Las Vegas has never been home to one of the four pro

sports leagues (NFL, MLB, NHL, & NBA) We would like to bring the fist NBA team to this market!

The Past

The city of Las Vegas has hosted an NBA event in the past, the 2007 NBA All-Star Game

The event was held at The Thomas and Mack Center (Home of UNLV)

• Multiple NBA teams have been rumored to be moving their organization to Las Vegas, including the Milwaukee Bucks and the Sacramento Kings

• The Men’s US Olympic team’s from 2008 & 2012 trained in Las Vegas, playing in The Thomas and Mack Center

The NBA summer league is currently held in Paradise, NV. Providing a great location for scouting for a team moving to Las Vegas

Used in the past for multiple sporting events for NHL Preseason, indoor soccer, and the PAC-12 Men’s basketball tournament took place there last year and will until 2015

the casinos Expected to seat 20,000 Includes shopping outlets, a park, and a plaza The entrance will feature a glass video layout playing images

of the athletes that will be 12 stories tall The Arena will also be privately funded, so it will not be a

strain on the local economy

In 2013 UNLV was ranked 14 out of 100 Division 1 schools for attendance at basketball games

In 2010 the Las Vegas Summer League broke a attendance record with 39,304 fans over a span of 9 days

Last years Summer League attendance was up 20% and the Championship game had a attendance of 7,300 fans

That was higher than any game attended last year
