MEDICINE
Medicine (Latin medicine, derived in turn
from mederi, which means 'cure'
'medicate') is the science devoted to the
study of life, health, disease and death of
human beings, and involves art to exercise
such technical knowledge for the
maintenance and restoration of health,
applying the diagnosis, treatment and
prevention of diseases. Medicine is part of
the so-called health sciences.

Psychology is the discipline that
investigates the mental processes of
humans and animals. The word comes
from Greek: psychological (mental activity
or soul) and -logía (studio). This discipline
analyzes the three dimensions of these
processes: cognitive, emotional and
behavioral.

PHILOSOPHY
Philosophy (Philosophia Latin and ancient
Greek φιλοσοφία this, "love of wisdom") 1
is the study of a variety of fundamental
questions about issues such as existence,
knowledge, truth, morality, beauty, mind
and language. In addressing these
problems, philosophy differs from
mysticism, esotericism, mythology and
religion for its emphasis on rational
arguments above arguments of authority,
and science because generally conducts its
investigations in a non-empirically, either
through the conceptual analysis, thought
experiments, speculation or other methods
a priori, but without ignoring the
importance of empirical data.
