Learning Google Hangouts started out as a project to see if people would watch, pay attention and interact. They did beyond the goals of the initial project. The WSO Show started and there was no advertising except word-of-mouth.

After a few shows and a couple of interviews, word got out and the show started to get subscribers. These folks followed, commented, shared and bought from the affiliate links in the descriptions. With affiliates sales above $400 fairly quickly the project had to be turned into a training program.

Zane Miller and I created “Live Video Domination” to train folks on how we used a great free tool to bring in money and how to use it. The course went live and we had a great Warrior Forum welcome and a ton of positive comments.

Our students were awesome and loved the course. Some have even continued with Google Hangouts and interviewed us on their show. I want to continue to thank them for their support, friendships and positive feedbacks.

1. If you do not have a Google Gmail account, go to www.gmail.com and sign up.

2. If you have a Gmail account already, sign in and click the +You link to set up Google+.

3. If you need to set up a Google+ account, click the Join Google+ tab and watch the introduction videos.

4. After setting up your Google+ Account (you do not have to set up your profile information yet,) head over to our favorite Google property, YouTube. Sign in to your account so that your Gmail account and your YouTube account match up.

5. Next, go back to Google+. In the upper right hand corner of the screen you will need to click the small downward pointing arrow to expose access to your account. Click on the account link to open up

access to your Google+ account.

6. Once the main account screen opens, you will see a list on the left side. Click the link named “Account.” This will open up a screen that has your account information. Scroll down until you see the link entitled, “connecting your accounts.”

7. Make sure you connect your YouTube account here. Once we have all the accounts connected and registered, we will be able to make using them together so much easier.

8. Grab your plugin here. Go through the steps to download and install it. Google is really good about detecting if you need the PC version or the Apple iOS version. The plugin is safe and secure so your antivirus shouldn’t have any issues with it.

9. Go back to Google+. Now you will find access to all the fun stuff! Click on the pictures and explore the areas. Some will be familiar or will have minor changes. Others will be shiny and new and may

seem overwhelming. Don’t freak out! We have your back and will get through it all together.

10. When you are ready to connect with friends, family, coworkers, or clients, just click one of the “Start a Hangout” buttons.
