About Urban Explorers TVUrban Explorers of Atlanta (UXATL) is an adventure-driven social club that was formed in August 2014. The clubs stated mission is to Have FUN and make a DIFFERENCE. Members enjoy an active events program that revolves around six adventure themes:Culinary + Cultural Arts + Education + Fitness + Service + Travel.In August 2015, the club launched Urban Explorers TV (UXTV). The purpose of UXTV is to enable those who cannot attend our events in person to enjoy them in the form of professionally produced videos at a later date. Eighty-percent of UXATL members are absent at any given event. In the case of non-members, we wish to provide those who cannot participate (for physical or financial reasons) with a way to enjoy what Atlanta has to offer in the way of urban adventures.UXTV episodes are recorded live by professional videographers. The raw footage is then edited and published online in the form of professionally produced videos. These videos are currently stored on the UXATL YouTube channel and may be embedded into any website and shared on all social media networks. We are in the process of creating a Vimeo channel and are also talking to an independent TV channel about airing some of all of our shows.

Timely & Meaningful ContentOur mission is to provide UXTV viewers with access to timely and meaningful content. It should also be relevant to their lifestyle. Our first six shows are as follows:Episode #1 Making of the Grandma Pie features Anthony Spina, owner of O4W Pizza and winner of the 2015 Ultimate Pizza Smackdown by Creative Loafing. Episode #2 features Ryan Gravel who spoke to our members on Aug 11 at Kevin Rathbun Steak. Ryans master thesis was the inspiration for the Atlanta Beltline.Episode #3 The Cultural Impact of Catalyst Infrastructure with Ryan Gravel. In this 60-minute interview Ryan talks about the Atlanta Beltline, his new consultancy, his upcoming book and more. Episode #4 features Jonah McDonald, a professional storyteller and author of Hiking Atlanta's Hidden Forests. This was filmed at our third Urban Visionaries event on Sept 3 at Cakes & Ale Cafe. Episode #5 Lantern Parade Experience will be filmed on Sept 12 on the south end of the Eastside Trail where the parade begins. Our plan is to capture the excitement of this amazing event which marks the kick-off of Art on the Atlanta Beltline. Episode #6 will feature Greg Levine, the Chief Program Officer at Trees Atlanta and our fourth Urban Visionary speaker. This one will be filmed on Sept 24 at the new Trees Atlanta TreeHouse.

Sponsorship OpportunitiesUrban Explorers TV needs your support. We have set up a unique crowd funding campaign to help us get this project off the ground. Contributions to this campaign are made by purchasing membership gift certificates to Urban Explorers of Atlanta. Gift certificates may be purchased online in increments of $25. They do not expire and may applied to any membership level. Use order form at UXATL.US/UXTVBusinesses may participate by sponsoring one, or more, episodes of UXTV. Business sponsors also receive membership gift certificates in addition to the branding benefits described on the next page. The current contribution to gift certificate ratio is 2:1, which means that a $500 sponsorship gets your $250 worth of gift certificates. See next page for an explanation of sponsor benefits
