Welcome! We’re thrilled that you’ve decided to be a part of the first ever Ivy League-wide
conference on mental health. This conference began with a simple idea:
What if we could bring together some of the best and brightest minds to tackle one of the biggest problems currently facing our campuses, the country, and
the world as a whole? Thanks to you, that idea is now a reality. Over the next few
days, we invite you to open your mind to novel perspectives, open your ears to absorb the ideas of those around you, and open your mouth to express your
own unique experiences. 1

Who are we?We’re a group of Penn students, who
represent different nationalities, cultures, viewpoints, and fields of study, yet are united by our passion for mental health and wellbeing. We believe that,
given recent mental health-related tragedies on Penn’s campus and others throughout the country, action must be
taken. This is that action.
