Faculty BiosJohn Anderson, DO, FACOEM, FAIHQAs the Chief Medical Officer, Executive Vice President, Dr. John Anderson directs the delivery of medical care for the entire Concentra organization. Dr. Anderson joined the organization in 1993 and offers more than 35 years of experience in occupational medicine. He is responsible for overseeing the medical practice, assuring evidence-based health care, and supervising more than 1,200 clinicians.

Dr. Anderson is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) and board certified in both occupational medicine and health care quality management. He has served as an appointed member of the Michigan Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council and Wayne State University’s Occupational Medicine Resident Advisory Committee. He is a contributing author and co-editor of the reference textbook Low Back Pain: An Evidence-Based, Biopsychosocial Model for Clinical Management.

Kristopher Bedi, DOOriginally from Southern California, Dr. Kristopher Bedi serves as the Chair of the Department of Specialty Medicine for the California Health Sciences University proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine.

He graduated from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Stamford Hospital – Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He then went on and completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the Women’s Health Institute of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Bedi has had many leadership positions during his medical career. He most recently served as the Director of Obstetrics of Gynecology at Van Diest Medical Center. Throughout his career he has been an active member in many organizations,

including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American Osteopathic Association. He has served as a delegate from Illinois to the AOA Congress and as a state delegate in Iowa.

Dr. Bedi’s special interests lie in Medical Education, Minimally Invasive Surgery and Urogynecology. He began his teaching career during his fellowship and has continually taught medical students and residents. He has held academic teaching positions at Midwestern University, Des Moines University and the University of Illinois, Chicago prior to his arrival at California Health Sciences University.

Allen Boghossian, DODr. Allen Boghossian is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist. Dr. Boghossian grew up in the Bay Area where he attended Santa Clara University for his undergraduate education. After graduating with honors, he attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated first in his class. Following his residency in ophthalmology at University of Missouri, Kansas City, Dr. Boghossian completed an extra sub-specialty training in laser vision correction at the world-renowned Durrie Vision. Dr. Boghossian is an active member of numerous professional organizations including American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is a LASIK instructor to ophthalmology residents at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting and a regular speaker on laser vision correction at national ophthalmology meetings. Dr. Boghossian has been on the board of directors to Prevent Blindness Northern California (PBNC) since 2011 and has serves as the chairman since 2015. He also volunteers on the education committee for the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California.

Kenneth Chang, DODr. Kenneth Cheng (COMP 1990) is a board-certified family physician practicing in Newport Beach, California. He authored “How to Prepare for and Survive the Violent Patient Encounter” at the request of Family Practice management (FPM), a national

peer-reviewed journal of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Publication of this article is in the November/December issue. Additionally, he has lectured on the topic of Active Shooter in a Medical Setting to the Orange County Chapter of the California Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Cheng’s qualifications to write and speak on this topic include being a 12-year member of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, where he is a volunteer reserve deputy sheriff. Having attended the Sheriff’s Training Academy for Law Enforcement, SWAT School, and Tactical Medicine School, he is currently a SWAT officer and Tactical Physician. He has been involved in hundreds of high-risk encounters and training scenarios, including active shooter, barricaded suspects, felony high-risk arrest, and search warrants situations. He is also currently a SWAT School instructor and Critical Incident Response Training instructor, having taught over 100 California law enforcement officers on tactical medicine. Lastly, he and his office were involved in a lock-down when a disgruntled patient shot and killed a surgical colleague in the same medical complex.

Yung-Wei Chi, DO, RVT, RPVI, FSVM, FAHA, FACPhDr. Yung-Wei Chi is a Professor of Medicine at the UC Davis Vascular Center. He is an internationally renown authority in vascular medicine with clinical expertise on venous, arterial and lymphatic disorders. A prolific author and researcher, he has presented his research works and lectured at major national and international conferences. His research comprises all aspects of vascular medicine, focusing on vascular ultrasound imaging, anti-thrombotic therapy, cellular based/angiogenesis therapy for peripheral arterial disease, and venous diseases and interventions. As part of the first group of board-certified phlebologists in the U.S., Dr. Chi is a regional expert in catheter-based endovenous treatment of venous disorders.

Lisa Chun, DODr. Lisa Chun is a graduate of NYITCOM and currently serves as the Associate Dean of Osteopathic Clinical Education at the proposed

California Health Sciences University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Fresno, California. In addition to serving as Associate Dean, Dr. Chun has held the positions of OMM Department Chair, founding NMM-Plus One Residency Director, Pre-doctoral OMM Teaching Fellowship Director, multiple course directorships, and national faculty of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. She obtained her Master’s in Medical Education Leadership through the University of New England, in addition to a Fellowship in the National Assembly of Osteopathic Medical Educators, sponsored by the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a contributing author in the first edition of An Osteopathic Approach to Diagnosis and Treatment by Schiowtiz and DiGiovanna.

David Connett, DO, FACOFP distDr. David Connett is the Vice Dean and Professor of Family Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences - College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. Dr. Connett serves on the Board of Governors for the national organization of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the past President of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians-California, the Osteopathic Medical Board of California and the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California. Dr. Connett is the former Vice President - Chief Medical Officer of Garden City Hospital in Michigan which is a 250 bed medical center with 13 post graduate training programs. Prior to this he was the Medical Director of the outpatient healthcare facilities for Columbia HCA in Denver Colorado having management oversight of 27 clinics with 72 physicians providing the leadership for reform for both financial and quality oversight. Dr. Connett served as the Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver Colorado. During his 11 years in Colorado Dr. Connett was also a consultant to the medical board as an expert on the practice of family medicine. He was also a consultant for the Department of Justice for management of chronic pain patients. Dr. Connett also serves as a national consultant for residency development to over 85 hospitals for which he has provided financial consultation and development strategies

for graduate medical education residency and fellowship training programs.Dr. Connett is a graduate of the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific-Western University of Healthcare Sciences in 1984 and had his postgraduate training at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and is currently board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine and earned his Distinguished Fellowship by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Over the past 34 years of clinical practice Dr. Connett has practiced family medicine, currently in Rancho Cucamonga, emergency medicine and aerospace medicine serving as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force. Dr. Connett is also a veteran of Operation Desert Storm and served in the United States Air Force for five years as a family physician and flight surgeon.

Gregory Copeland, DODr. Greg Copeland is the Chair of Primary Care Medicine at California Health Sciences University College of Osteopathic Medicine in central California. He is also a practicing physician who focusses on geriatric medicine, palliative care and hospice patients. He is board certified in family medicine as well as hospice & palliative medicine. Dr. Copeland has worked in a variety of healthcare settings in Fresno, California, including being the medical director of a local hospice and PACE program. He also oversees an outpatient medicine clinic and performs inpatient palliative care consults.

Alissa Craft, DO, MBAFrom August 2015 – May 2017, Dr. Alissa Craft served as the Vice President of Accreditation at the American Osteopathic Association. In this role, she served as Secretary for the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA), the only accrediting agency for the 50 plus training locations for doctors of osteopathic medicine in the United States.

Prior to joining the American Osteopathic Association, Dr. Craft served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. While

in clinical practice in neonatology, she served as Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety for Pediatrix Medical Group, a national practice management group overseeing the care of approximately 20% of the infants in our nation’s NICUs on any given day.

She completed her osteopathic medicine degree at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (now ATSU-KCOM) and her MBA at the University of Phoenix. She completed residency training at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Craft currently serves as Assistant Vice President, Program Development at Western University of Health Sciences (Pomona campus).

Natalie Do, DODr. Natalie Do first began her career in health care as a pharmacist. After pharmacy school at University of Southern California, she conducted HIV/AIDS research in Botswana as a Fulbright Scholar with the Botswana/Harvard AIDS Partnership. Her work with HIV/AIDS patients convinced her that her calling was to become a physician. Upon her return to the United States, she practiced inpatient pharmacy while completing her medical education at Western University of Health Sciences. While in medical school, she became fascinated with psychiatry, and completed her Adult/General Psychiatry residency at Loma Linda University. She continued her training in psychiatry at University of California San Diego in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry program. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for both adult/general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Do currently works for the Department of State Hospitals.

Geneva Giang, MBAMs. Geneva Giang joined Concentra, Inc. in October 1995 and currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical Analytics. Prior to Concentra, Geneva spearheaded Medical Economics Initiatives at Kaiser Permanente. She has over twenty-eight years of diverse experience in the development, implementation, and support of advanced analytics, integrated reporting systems and clinical

research/publications for the healthcare industry. Her expertise is in quantitative research methods and focus have included optimizing research design methodologies, program evaluations, measurement strategies, and multivariate statistics.

Ms. Giang has authored and co-authored various articles, book chapters and research publications pertaining to outcomes measurements and process management.

Susannah Graves, MD, MPHDr. Susannah Graves is the Chief of Tuberculosis Control and Refugee Health for County of San Diego’s Public Health Services. She completed her medical degree at University of California, San Francisco and her clinical training in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She previously served on the UCSD faculty as the Site Director for UCSD’s Global Medicine Residency at Maputo Central Hospital in Mozambique through the Medical Education Partnership Initiative, a program that supports medical education and research collaboration including post-graduate clinical training at both institutions. She has worked in tuberculosis control in various settings including hospitals in the U.S. and Mozambique as well as state and local health jurisdictions and the binational setting of the San Diego / Tijuana border region. Outside of work she enjoys hiking and making music with her family.

Robert Hendren, DODr. Robert L. Hendren is Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science; Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry; Co-Director of the UCSF Dyslexia Center; and Director, Program for Research On Neurodevelopmental and Translational Outcomes (PRONTO). Dr. Hendren is Past President of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (2007-2009). He has published well over 100 scientific papers and 5 books and has been listed in “The Best Doctors in America” each year since it was first published in 1996. Dr. Hendren earned his DO degree from Kirksville

College of Osteopathic Medicine; did a rotating internship at Doctor’s Columbus; took his residency in general psychiatry at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, and his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center. He is board certified in General as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. From 2001-2009, he was Professor of Psychiatry and Executive Director and Tsakopoulos-Vismara Chair at the University of California, Davis M.I.N.D. Institute (Medical Investigation of Neurodevelopmental Disorders).

His current areas of research and publication interests are translational interventional outcomes research including clinical pharmacology, nutraceutical and nutritional trials using biomarkers (metabolomics, measures of inflammation, oxidative stress, immune function, pharmacogenomics and neuroimaging) to enhance resilience in neurodevelopmental disorders. He is currently applying a targeted outcomes research approach in collaborative projects with the Oak Hill School for youth with severe autism and neurodevelopmental spectrum disorders in San Anselmo, California, Meristem Academy in Sacramento, and the Charles Armstrong School for youth with dyslexia in Belmont, California.

Phuc Huynh, DO, CMD, CPCDr. Phuc Huynh is a graduate of Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine and is board certified in family medicine (AOBFP). He is currently in private practice in San Bernardino, CA. His focus is on geriatric medicine, nursing home, house call, hospice, and home health services. He earned his Certified Medical Director (CMD) through the American Medical Director Association and his Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through American Academy Professional Coder. Her practice, based at Marin General Hospital in the Bay Area, focuses on the delivery of high-level breast care including benign breast disease, high-risk care and the surgical management of breast malignancies. She serves as the medical director of the Breast Program at the Marin Cancer Institute. Dr. Kelley received her medical degree from the University of Chicago and completed her OB/Gyn residency at UCSF. She then completed a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at the University of Southern California under the mentorship of Dr. Melvin Silverstein. Dr. Kelley is a Volunteer Associate Professor at UCSF and serves as the clerkship director at Marin General. She lives in Oakland with her partner and two children.

John Kowalczyk, DO, FACOS Dr. John Kowalczyk has resided in Southern California since he first began practicing urology in 1996. He is the founder of the Urology Group of Southern California, which first opened its doors in 2001 and continues to serve patients in downtown Los Angeles. He received his medical training through Midwestern University, and at Indiana University where he received fellowship training in uroprosthetics. Dr. Kowalczyk is a recent past president of the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California and a California delegate to the American Osteopathic Association House of Delegates. Additionally, he is an expert reviewer for the Osteopathic Medical Board of California. He sits on the board of the Physician’s Aid Association, the Good Samaritan IPA and the Medical Executive Committee of Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Kowalczyk has received many awards, including the David M Shaw Physician of the Year Award at Good Samaritan Hospital and the Physician Educator of the Year Award for Downey Regional Medical Center’s Family Practice Residency Program. He is a researcher who continues to publish, including many journal articles and a text book chapter. His professional expertise focuses on prostate cancer, male impotentance, incontinence and urodynamics as well as gender dysphoria and gender confirmation surgery. His personal passions include politics, world travel, shark diving and an occasional fine cigar.

Steve Lee, DOA native of South Korea, Dr. Steve Lee completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario and later continued his education at California State University, Northridge and at Western University of Health Sciences. He earned his DO degree in 2002 and then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Fellowship in Rheumatology in 2008.

William Ngai, MD, MPHDr. William Ngai received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and his Masters of Public Health from the University of California Los Angeles School of Public Health. Postgraduate training consists of an internship in internal medicine at the Veterans Administration Hospital of Long Beach and a residency in occupational and environmental medicine at the University of Southern California and the University of California San Francisco.

After practicing in the emergency department at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Martinez for a year, Dr. Ngai practiced general medicine and occupational medicine in Oakland for thirteen years. From 1988, he practiced occupational medicine at the Mills-Peninsula Hospitals in Burlingame and San Mateo until 2003. He has held his current position of a Public Health Medical Officer in the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment, as department of the California EPA since April 2000.

Yvette Nonato, MD, DPBRM, FPARMDr. Yvette Nonato is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist by training. Her special interests include: Traumatic Brain Injuries, Spinal Cord Injuries, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, and Sports Medicine where she has been a venue sports physician for the ASEAN games and Asian games in the 1990’s. While in medical school, she was an exchange student with the Asian Medical Students Association (AMSA), and rotated in a number of big medical centers and rural hospitals in Northern and Southeast Asian countries. She was

trained in military hospitals where she evaluated and triaged veterans, and soldiers injured in armed conflicts. She was one of the few then-residents admitted into the International Spinal Cord Society (formerly IMSOP), a membership she keeps to date. Dr. Nonato has delivered lectures ranging from “Low Back Pain” to “Spinal Cord Injuries,” at conventions or seminars for various Asian medical specialty societies.

She has also been a primary investigator for a number of Clinical Trials, notably, a COX-2 inhibitor. The end-paper was exhibited as a poster presentation prior to product launching. By 2001, she was invited by a pharmaceutical firm to deliver a presentation on an off-label drug combination. It was slated to be at the firm’s headquarters in Zurich, but this was thwarted by the September 11 tragedy. Dr. Yvette Nonato finished a course in Health Informatics at UC Davis. She submitted a proposal for a mobile phone app that will link cholinesterase test orders, and the algorithm of test results within those involved in California’s Medical Supervision Program (Health and Safety Code 105206).

Currently, Dr. Nonato keeps busy with the Pesticide Illness Surveillance Program (PISP). PISP maintains a robust database of pesticide exposure cases utilized by healthcare professionals, academicians, and scientists for scholarly publications.

On a lighter note, Yvette is also a seasoned musician and performer. She has performed a range of genres— from Glenn Miller’s “Big Bands” to Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana.”

Hemesh Patel, DOBoard certified in both family medicine and obesity medicine , Dr. Hemesh Patel was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California and practices in the community he grew up in today. He completed his undergraduate studies in biology and English at UCLA and completed his masters in physiology and biophysics and Georgetown University, then studied medicine at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific.

Dr. Patel trained in family medicine at the University of California, Irvine and is currently with the Southern California Medical Group where he practices family medicine and obesity medicine. Dr. Patel serves as the assistant director for weight management services for Orange County.

Kaveri Patel, DODr. Kaveri Patel has practiced family medicine with Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group’s Fremont Campus since 2003. She enjoys integrating mindfulness, compassion, diversity and inclusivity practices wherever and whenever she can into physician lectures and patient care. Dr. Patel also enjoys facilitating meditation and reflective journaling classes for patients and the community at large, parenting, yoga, Qigong, writing, singing and hiking. Kim Pfotenhauer, DODr. Kim Pfotenhauer is a board-certified osteopathic family physician and assistant professor at Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California. A graduate of Michigan State University, Dr. Pfotenhauer splits her time between clinical practice, academic teaching, and research in metabolic disease. She is currently completing a fellowship in diabetology at Touro University California and is board certified in advanced diabetes management.

Mike Repik, DODr. Mike Repik is a combat veteran of the First Gulf War and after honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps matriculated to The Pennsylvania State University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Vertebrate Physiology. He then received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Following his residency he completed a fellowship in Surgical Oncologic Pathology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.After completing his fellowship he has worked in Pain Management, Weight Loss and Addiction Medicine.

While he is not seeing patients, Dr. Mike performs stand-up comedy all across America and is particularly fond of performing at nursing homes. He once cured a diabetic audience member with a snickers bar.

Michael Schick, DODr. Michael Schick is a graduate of medicine and bioethics from Kansas City University. He completed Emergency Medicine residency at Einstein Healthcare Network and Ultrasound fellowship at UC Davis, where he works as an assistant professor. He serves as the director of Technology Enabled Active Learning at the UC Davis School of Medicine where he develops curriculum and teaches ultrasound to medical and nursing students, residents, fellows, and faculty. He serves as the Co-Director of Ultrasound for Global Emergency Care, helping to run a novel training program in Uganda. He is the director of the global health and ultrasound fellowship within the department of Emergency Medicine at UC Davis. In these roles, he works towards capacity building, education, and the advancement of medicine through ultrasound.

Jay Shubrook, DODr. Jay Shubrook is a Family Physician and Fellowship trained Diabetologist. He serves as a professor at the primary care department at Touro University CA and the Director of clinical research and director of diabetes services. He has published more than 100 papers on diabetes. He is an associate editor of the JAOA and for Clinical Diabetes. He is a former editor in chief of the Osteopathic Family Physician. His research interests are focused on type 2 diabetes prevention and early intervention of type 2 diabetes. He enjoys running and biking and exploring California.

Bertha Tsai, DODr. Bertha Tsai earned her BA in Biological Sciences at the University of Chicago. She then entered the inaugural class of Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas. She has practiced general pediatrics in San Diego County for last 10 years.

Anne VanGarsse, MDDr. Anne VanGarsse serves as the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, Community Engagement and Population Health at California Health Sciences University, where she is also an associate professor of pediatrics and pharmacy. In prior roles, she has served as a vice chair of primary care, an assistant dean of clinical affairs, and as the Chief Health Officer for a Federally Qualified Health Center in Olathe, Kansas. Through her work in medical education and a community health center, she strove to combine medical student education into safety net medicine, to instill a passion for safety net medicine in future physicians.

A board-certified pediatrician by training, Dr VanGarsse received her BS in Biology from Rockhurst University and her MD from St Louis University, where she also completed her pediatric residency. Upon residency completion, Dr VanGarsse practiced in the private sector for 11 years, before returning to her native Kansas City to pursue an academic career. Dr. VanGarsse recently obtained the prestigious Certified Physician Executive (CPE) designation. She is also a graduate of University of Kansas Medical Center Community Health Center Executive Fellowship.

Dr. VanGarsse has a passion for incorporating all the tenets of health system science into medical student education, with an overall goal of improving the health outcomes of underserved patients.

Dr. VanGarsse additionally serves as a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, for which she served

as a member of the standard setting panel in 2017, and a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership, as well as other academic and pediatric organizations.

Melissa Vourlitis, DODr. Melissa Vourlitis is a Fellow with the American Academy of Family Physicians and a diplomat with the American Board of Integrative Medicine, as well as a Certified Medical Director with the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. Dr. Vourlitis has an office practice assessing and treating cognitive concerns. In addition, she makes house calls to home bound patients. She uses scientifically based assessments and interventions offering her patients more than standard care for cognitive concerns. She enthusiastically shares this information with anyone who will listen.

Daniel Waters, DODr. Daniel James Waters is a native of Southern New Jersey and a published author since 1981; a graduate of UMD/New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine (now Rowan SOM), he has practiced cardiac surgery for nearly thirty years. In addition to undergraduate and medical degrees, he holds a Graduate Certificate in Narrative Healthcare and a Master of Arts in Writing, both from The Center for Graduate Studies at Asheville/The Thomas Wolfe Center for Narrative at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Asheville, NC. He is the Director of Medical Education at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa and author of numerous scientific papers, essays, short stories, two books of surgical advice and one novel.

Ashby Wolfe, MD, MPP, MPHDr. Ashby Wolfe is a board-certified family physician and serves as co-Chief Medical Officer for Regions 8, 9 and 10 of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Dr. Wolfe has been based in the San Francisco Regional Office since 2015, and now also supports the Denver and Seattle Regions in her focus on the implementation of Medicare and Medicaid policy across the Western States and the Pacific Territories ((AK, ID, OR, WA, AZ, CA, HI, NV, CO, MT, ND, SD, UT, WY, Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern

Mariana Islands). As a senior medical advisor for CMS programs in the Western Region, she provides clinical expertise to the divisions of Medicare and Medicaid payment policy, quality improvement, survey & certification, contracted health plans and serves as the principle liaison with the clinical community.

Dr. Wolfe completed her medical degree at Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York, and her residency training at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. She also holds a Masters of Public Policy and a Masters of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Wolfe has practiced broad-scope family medicine in academic, integrated and community clinical settings over the course of her career and holds a particular interest in improving the quality and equity of care for underserved and low-income populations. She has published multiple articles on Medicare and Medicaid policy, and is a contributing author of the public health text, Prevention is Primary (Jossey-Bass).

Christopher Wulff, MDPioneering alongside two of the original innovators of angioplasty in this country, Dr. Christoper Wulff gained advanced training in Interventional Cardiology at the San Francisco Heart institute. Recognized for his expertise in coronary and peripheral intervention and heart failure, he served as ValleyCare Medical Center’s first ever director, in Pleasanton, and established the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

In addition to his commitment to the treatment of arterial vascular disease, Dr. Wulff established the first Bay Area Interventional Cardiology practice devoted to the treatment of venous disease, including endovascular ablation, sclerotherapy, and ambulatory microphlebectomy.

Harry Yuan, DO, MPH, FAAP, FCOFP, FCCP, FAASMDr. Harry C. Yuan is a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist and sleep physician. He received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree

from Western University of Health Sciences. He completed his pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and his pediatric pulmonology/sleep fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Yuan is currently the Medical Director of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at Children’s Hospital at Providence in Anchorage and the Pediatric Medical Director for Alaska Sleep Clinic. His areas of interest are asthma, pulmonary issues related to neuromuscular disorders, cystic fibrosis, and pediatric sleep disorders. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, exciting his gastronomic senses, scuba diving, karate, and spending time with family.

Steven Zonner, DODr. Steve Zonner is a board-certified family physician who completed the majority his medical training in Chicago including a primary care

sports medicine fellowship. In 1990, he went on to become the head team physician for Arizona State University and has been invited to work at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. He has been treating people of all ages and athletic abilities in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2004. Dr. Zonner is also intimately involved the rapidly evolving field of concussion care and is utilizing a cutting edge approach - using eye tracking technology - to aid in the diagnosis and corresponding treatment of this increasingly common brain injury. Dr. Zonner currently serves as the Concussion Program Director of the Tri-Valley and Golden State Elite youth Ice Hockey Programs in Dublin, California, as well as Medical Consultant for the Concussion Committee of the California Amateur Hockey Association.
