2. Internship & field Trip: 2.1) Internship at Chem-KU : Research in Biodiesel Production

The Center of Excellence-Oil Palm Kasetsart University has special research interests especially for oil palm in learning, teaching, doing research and providing service from material production, product processing and value added product for developing oil palm industry in Thailand.

2.2) Internship at PTT (Petroleum Authority of Thailand) Group. (Applicants must meet PTT qualification requirements) Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT) was established on December 29, 1978, aiming to integrated energy and petrochemical business as the nation's energy company. Qualified applicants will join the leading nation research center on petroleum, alternative energy and petrochemical research institute to support the PTT groups.

2.3) Internship at Ampon Food Processing Ltd. (Applicants

must meet Ampon Food Processing Ltd. qualification requirements) 38 Ampol Food Processing Ltd. was set up in 1988, aiming to produce and distribute domestic agricultural processed goods and products. The company invested in Chaokoh UHT Coconut Milk and lastly became the first instant UHT coconut milk manufacturer in Thailand. It is also now launched healthy beverages in respond to the new trend of lifestyle. Qualified applicants will join their research and development center.

Means and Criteria of Assessment :

Students are required to take examinations and participate in all class activities. In addition, students should give a short presentation in the related topics to applied chemistry.
