PROGRAMA BALDE CHEIO DAIRY CATTLE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF MINAS GERAIS STATE
SISTEMA FAEMG | FAEMG SYSTEM
FAEMG SYSTEM (Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Minas
Gerais) represents farmers across the state. The organization joins forces
to defend the political, economic and social interests of the class. Over
400,000 small, medium and large producers are benefited by institutional
actions of FAEMG SYSTEM.
The System includes 385 unions of producers in all state. The SENAR
(National Rural Apprenticeship Service) empowers farmers and rural
workers through courses.

Institute develops programs, projects,
researchs and other iniciatives to contribute
with agribusiness development.
Minas Gerais is the first national producer of milk (27,1% of national
production), involving about 200,000 producers.

The program was started in 2007 by FAEMG System, in 17
municipalities, from methodology developed by EMBRAPA
(Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation).
This methodology supports the transfer of intensive milk production
in pasture technology and management to producers through
technical multipliers (local extension), accompanying the
sustainable development of the properties.
