A ghost story

It was the winter of 1966. The Sanchez family moved into a large, old house in “Real del Monte”, Hidalgo; which was running down cause the time. The family was happy to have some days of relax there; after some couple of days unusual things began to happen. Things started to move from the original place they were. Doors opened and closed during the night, furniture moved mysteriously. The dog barked for no reason. Then one day the dog ran away and didn’t come back.

The family didn’t believe in ghosts, so at first they weren’t afraid they thought it was a thief near their house, who had stolen some things.

But then one night the little daughter of the family heard a horrible laughter and a strange scream.

She went to the top of the stairs and looked down. The figure of a woman appeared for a moment in the living room and then suddenly disappeared. Was the house haunted?

Mrs. Sanchez knew it was haunted after her experience in the bathroom. She was in front of the mirror when she saw a hand behind her. She felt the fingers touch her shoulder. Scared and terrified, she turned around. She was alone in the room; nobody was there, everything was quite.
