William Carey, the father of
modern missions said, "Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God." We have discovered that those great things are often realized through key partnerships. Such was the case in our recent Spring Impact construction and outreach projects.!
The goals were ambitious: advance the construction at Instituto

s t i m u l a t e m i n i s t e r i a l formation among Bible school students, and encourage evangelism efforts in the Yucat�n. The challenges were real--physical, Þnancial, and spiritual.! !
Nevertheless, the needs!
Traditionally, Christian nations tend to view missions as their responsibility to the nations. But what of those nations currently being reached? Do they, too, share a responsibility in the burden of world evangelism? !
Jesus seemed to think so. He expected his ßedgling disciples to pass on what they had learned from him and engage in his worldwide mission from the get-go (Matthew 10:8). That's why we're working as well to see the Yucat�n live up to its missions potential.!
Teaching missions in IBB, preaching missions in churches and!
were met when pivotal partners responded. Donors provided funds
to purchase building materials, Chi Alpha
(XA): University of V i r g i n i a a n d
A m e r i c a n U n i v e r s i t y
provided the w i l l i n g n e s s , l a b o r , a n d stamina for the
work, and local Bible school students and pastors
provided planning, support, and oversight.!

at sectional meetings, participating in the Þrst Yucat�n Missions Convention, and attending the World Missions Congress in Quintana Roo are all ways that we are seeking to make that happen!!Details: discipleMexico.org/tag/YucatanMissions.
The kids stayed active as well with the XA teams. Rebekah translated, Joseph pitched in with painting, and Jonathan helped in kids' ministry!
