Hendersonville Alumni Journal Submission December 2010 Brothers Chris Berry and Reginald King of Hendersonville Alumni, gathered together at a local area Chili’s Restaurant to show support for its Annual Charity Day. All proceeds from food sales went to benefit St Jude’s Children Research Hospital. Brothers Micky Lundy and Kenton Wesby along with their wives Silhouette Latisha Lundy and Tanisha Wesby participated in the Share Walk aimed at bringing awareness to parents who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant death. 365 Nupe is a health initiative aimed at providing opportunities for brothers in the Middle TN. Area to stay healthy and stay fit.

The Hendersonville Alumni Chapter members enjoyed themselves and collectively were able to sort 3700 pounds of food from the Freezer of The Second Harvest Food Bank

The Hendersonville Alumni Chapter’s goal is to have a significant impact in the Sumner County community and the greater Middle Tennessee area. Our 13th annual Thanksgiving Baskets Drive was a huge success as we were able to feed 100 deserving families.

Answering the call to service, Bro. Chris Berry, traveled to Haiti to aid in clean-up efforts. Bro. Berry’s commitment to service in the public interest is evident as he goes beyond our borders to lend a hand to those who are in need

Read across America: The Brothers of the Hendersonville Alumni Chapter read to the boys and girls of Taylor Stratton Elementary. Bro. Artie Prince and Bro. Robert Horton delight the children by reading stories to the students of Taylor-Stratton Elementary School in Madison, TN.
