The project aims at developing a

European teaching and training toolkit for

practically supporting the implementation of

the Work Based Learning (WBL) in all

stages of VET.

Moreover, the project will support the

implementation of Quality Assurance (QA)

mechanisms for WBL in VET, in the fashion

sector with a specific focus on feedback

loops between iVET and cVET systems.

-Report on the implementation of WBL

and Quality Assurance in VET in the

Partner countries in the fashion sector;

-WBL Toolkit for supporting the concrete

implementation of WBL programmes in

iVET;

-Quality Assurance guidelines and tools

for WBL;

-Learning programme for iVET teachers

and in-company trainers (tutors, mentors,

coaches) in the field of WBL and Quality

Assurance.

AIMS and

OBJECTIVES The project is innovative because the

work-based learning and the quality in

education are two very relevant aspects of

the European Commission and the EQA-

VET network. The project:

- Combines a top-down approach of the

EQAVET criteria, descriptors and

indicators with a bottom-up sector

(fashion) and the needs of suppliers; the

result will be a QA guidelines and tools

set for iVET providers; this approach will

allow EQAVET to become a tool / Euro-

pean tool used by iVET providers with a

real practical impact on iVET quality,

thus increasing transparency and facilitat-

ing mobility.

- Creates a convergence between quality

assurance in iVET, work-based learning

methodology, and training of teachers and

business trainers to support WBL; the

project brings a holistic approach, com-

bining a practical support for iVET pro-

viders in WBL implementation.
