Olero Creek is a swamp that is located in the Delta State which is about 200 kilometers northwest of PortHarcourt. Olero Creek has a flow stations system which is operated by Chevron that consists of fourbarge-mounted processing modules which separate oil and gas from the well. They separately deliver oiland gas and re-inject water to the well. The facilities, designed as offshore installations, comprised of multiplebarges installed in a river delta.

During the refurbishment of the Olero Creek barge INTECH was awarded the project for Design and Engi-neering of complete process control and safety systems for six facilities at Nigeria Olero Creek/Dibi area . Three of these facilities (NWS- North Water station, NFS/QUS – North Flow Station/Quarters Platform, NCS – North Compressor Station) were north of Revier Benin and three (SFS – South Flow Station, SWS – South Water Station and SCS – South Water Station) were on the southern end.

The successful completion of the project with zero defects in PLC and HMI applications at FAT inspectionled to a contract extensions for software and system upgrades in the Olero region. In addition the commision-ing of the project was performed by a combination of rescources from local Nigerian office and Houstonheadquarters.

Since 1992, INTECH has completed over 700 major upstream onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects for most Majors, leading NOCs, and many IOCs working both directly as well as subcontractor to leading global as well as local EPCs.

INTECH has delivered many projects and systems under collaborative relationship with key Oil & Gas OEMs including Schlumberger, Halliburton, Weatherford, Superi-or, Cameron and others.
