Theturnkey contract has been awarded toM/s NEC Technologies India Ltd.According to CGM, A&N Telecom Circle,the CANI-SMC project is beingconstructed at a total cost of around Rs.1200 crores, funded by USOF, Govt. ofIndia. The project will play a significantrole in bridging the digital divide and forspreading the various e-governanceprogrammes in the Emerald Isles.
