Introduction
Its about a simple circuit to alarm you when somebody tries to theft your luggage.
Abstract
While traveling by a train or bus, we generally lock our luggage using a chain-and-lock arrangement.
But, still we are under tension, apprehending that somebody may cut the chain and steal our luggage.

Explanation on circuit
In the above circuit diagram the main IC used is ICX UM3561.
UM3561 is an excellent ROM IC that can generate Multi siren tones.
This 8 pin low power IC can work down to 2.4 volts.
Three transistors are used. T1 enables supply to the sound generator chip
Explanation on circuit
Two points on the circuit diagram are named “A” & “B” are connected to the chain.
The chain is connected to the luggage.
Working
When somebody tries to cut the chain, Transistor T1 enables supply to the sound generator chip.
Positive supply to the alarm circuit is given through the transistor T1 with the ground.
Advantage
Since the power consumption is minimum in the alarm circuit it can be used for the hundreds of hours travel.
Since, this is a simple circuit we can use this wherever we need to prevent.
Application
Used in the traveling through the busses and trains.
Useful for the people traveling with huge amount and highly valuable things.
Future work
If we implement this circuit in house door lock system, we can prevent our belongings from theft.
Conclusion
We can prevent our belongings using this simple circuit.
