• To develop and implement a plan to provide exposure of the West Point Leadership Theories to the employees of the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

• The development and implementation of this plan will be based on a process defined as the “Leaders Problem Solving Model”.

• The number of employees at the Sheriff’s Office has grown from twenty-six to two hundred eighty-nine since 1982.

• The number of Formal Leaders has increased from six to approximately sixty.

• Our employee population grows by approximately 25-35 employees each year.

• The population of Williamson County has grown from 70,000 to 250,000 in the last 20 years.

• The annual training budget for Law Enforcement Bureau is approximately $40,000.

• Present proposal to the class.

• Obtain copies of the WPLA course material from Craig Howard.

• Condense material to a 40 hour block.

• Discuss the limitations of class size and frequency with the administration.
