‘Project Vishram’ is a venture to meet some needs of the Elderly & ‘Care Givers’ at one’s home.

It is an Assisted Living option and not a substitute for old age homes and Geriatric Wards in Hospitals .

OBJECTIVE

The coverage of each unit would be within a radius of 3 to 5 kms .

Networking between units would help in the optimum utilization of resources.

COVERAGE

• Initially 2 units would be started at Vasanth Nagar and Jal Vayu Vihar , Kammanahalli, linking members to multiple service providers of the area.

• An operator will be available during working hours for those who do not like to go through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.

• Other units would be started later at other locations.

STAGES OF IMPLEMENTATION

NETWORK OF UNITS Each unit would serve about 300

members and attempt quality services at reasonable costs.

COSTS

The cost to each Senior Citizen member:

a)An annual membership to avail of the services at discounted rates from service providers.

b) Payment for services used are to be paid directly to the service provider.

An introductory Free trial offer would be available for the user and service provider.

The revenue for ‘Project Vishram’ will be from commissions of 5 to 10 % from the service providers.

Service providers would benefit from an increase in customers.

MEMBERSHIP

The membership can be made either by the individual or care giver or sponsor.

It may be terminated by the member or the management committee with 30 days notice.

Sponsors would be required for those who cannot afford to pay for the services.
