What is ProjectsOGP?What is ProjectsOGP?

ProjectsOGP is a global online project tracking database which focuses purely on oil, gas and petrochemical projects.

The database provides up-to-date and comprehensive profiles on thousands of international projects.

The cloud based application was created to be user friendly and has an accessible interface, allowing subscribers to search for projects and define markets by project type, contract type and geographically.

The project database allows users to track projects of choice, receive live system updates and have alerts sent straight to their email address.

Each client is provided with login details for their

personalised account.

After logging in the user will be directed to the

dashboard where project information can be

managed.

General Search OptionsGeneral Search Options

There are four different types of searches,

general search term, by project name, multiple

choice function and company search.

General search checks for a specific word and will

highlight all projects where it is mentioned.

Use this function to cater for specific business

interests, for example searching Crude Oil, Well Bore or Subsea.

The flashing blue icon highlights new projects.

Project SearchProject Search

Project search is designed to search for projects on the system

by name.

Multiple Choice FunctionMultiple Choice FunctionTo do a multiple

choice search, tick any relevant boxes

for the desired search result.

Note that when a section is left blank it will include all options

in that category.

Company SearchCompany SearchThe company search

function allows users to search by company and returns any project they

are involved with.

Company AlertsCompany Alerts

Select the alert box to receive updates on any

activity involving the chosen company.

Save SearchesSave Searches

Saving a search allows the user to revisit a search

previously carried out.

Multiple ChoiceMultiple ChoiceThis shows both the

multiple choice function and the company search

being integrated.

Results OrderResults OrderWhen a search is first

conducted, it shows the most recently updated

projects in ascending order.

Sorting ResultsSorting ResultsResults can be viewed in

alphabetical / chronological order by; Country, Type, Status, Stream and Updated.

Select the green arrow to expand the drop down

menu.

Clicking on the “View summary” gives an

overview of the project.

Summary

Shown is the Project Summary. It will also show contractors with

role and sub-contractors.

View SummaryView Summary

“View full info” shows a more detailed report of

the project.

Additional InformationAdditional Information

The information is split into tabs making it easy

for the user to navigate.

Project ProfileProject Profile

Project information shows each of the

updates, with the most recent at the top.

Project InformationProject Information

If a completion/commence date has been announced, here it will show the year and highlight the quarter

e.g. the first quarter of 2016.

This tab shows the lifecycle of the project.

Project ClassificationProject Classification

The next three tabs show the offices in

charge of the project and is split by operators,

main contractors and sub-contractors.

The final tab allows users to add

personalised notes to the project. Adding

reminders and favourites will send alerts to the

email provided.

makes it easy to export the

information as CSV and PDF
