Participate in the completion of the first eco park, receiving an interest payment of 10.96% after 15 months, equivalent to 8.77% annual income.

The eco park, based in Anglesey, will be a unique food and power business, where five core businesses will combine to form a profitable, environmentally friendly agricultural facility with a large renewable energy power plant at its core.

The bio-mass power station has multiple funding offers in place to finance the development through to completion. Multiple farming facilities will be constructed at the eco park site and will be supported by the heat produced from the bio-mass power station.

The site in Anglesey, fuel supply for the bio-mass power station and construction team are already in place. The corporate bond will be used to fast-track the speed with which the eco park site can be brought on stream.

Multiple facilities, including farming facilities, are expected to be constructed at the Anglesey site and will be powered by the excess heat produced by the biomass power station (heat that a traditional power station would waste). When fully operational, the plant is expected to generate enough electricity to power 300,000 homes.

Anglesey’s MP Albert Owen said that “the latest step forward showed the island was well placed to deliver a major project that would create quality, long-term employment prospects”. The eco park is expected to create at least 500 jobs.

The eco parks team will be responsible for the design, procurement, construction and operation of the site in Anglesey. Sitting alongside this team will be the appointed Engineer Procurement Construction partner (the ‘EPC’) working towards a programme plan to build the biomass power station with a target completion date (for part of the plant) of mid-2017.
