proposal for a portal to philippine cinema using data visualization techniques
DESCRIPTION
I used this presentation to outline some technical considerations for a proposed digital web-based application that visually organizes and archives information on the Web related to Philippine cinema. Treating the Web as “the world\'s the biggest database”16, this creative project would harvest information on Philippine cinema that has already been uploaded to the Web. I presented this idea during the 5th Annual Southeast Asian Cinemas Conference (www.aseacc.org).TRANSCRIPT
