IT IS PROPOSED:

--That the Board approve the adoption of the Leimberg Information Service for the entire membership of our council at a cost of $12 per member covering May 1 to December 31, 2008.

-- That this be approved as a “trial” service with the cost paid from reserves.

-- That a vote of the Board be taken at the end of the trial period, Nov. 2008 to determine continuation of the service.

-- For our current [X} members that would amount to an expenditure of [$XXX] compared with [$X,XXX] for a full year.

-- I recommend the “trial” period so members may have sufficient time to become familiar with the extensive services provided.

-- It is likely several of our member’s firms pay much more than $1,000 annually for much less extensive services.
