• Formal– Having a defined format• Starting from executive summery, title page, table of

– More similar to long formal reports

Difference Between Solicited and Unsolicited proposal

Solicited proposal• A solicited proposal is when

the customer asks for a proposal.

• A solicited proposal provides you with a description of what the customer wants.

Unsolicited Proposal• An unsolicited proposal is

when you send them a proposal they haven’t even asked for.

• Unsolicited proposals must be especially convincing since the customer has not anticipated, planned, or budgeted for the proposal.

• Effective proposals openers “HOOK” readers by promising extraordinary results or resources or by identifying key benefits, issues or outcomes.

Basic purpose is to convince the reader that how good you understand the problem and have an effective and efficient solution.

• Keeping in mind that you don’t have to disclose that much detail that it losses importance of your leadership or involvement to the project.

• SURVEY:We got a questionnaire filled by 500 customers from 15 shops around the city. Statistics will help you to understand the considerable results about customers needs.

• ANALYSISWe have the data analyzed on different basis, like:

How many of the star bucks customers have internet facility at their homes? Average number of customers that visit a shop a day.? What is the ratio between male and female customers? How much time do they spend on internet? For which particular purpose? Age variation?

• SCHEDULE Following schedule will be followed after the approval:

Students of “section B” have a great idea of fund raising through a musical show for flood victims’ .Now you need to write a proposal to seek permission and support from authority in order to organize it. You will be asking authority for participation by providing men power, place and other things that you need to support this show. You are supposed to acknowledge the university that you have got sponsorship from COCA COLA to meet the expenses of show. Some other companies are also willing to take part in the charity.
