With the introduction and evolution of state-of-art technology and software, use of electronic surveillance

has become imperative for businesses. Be it the office, public places or in Vehicles - electronic

surveillance acts as an extended eye – a Remote -providing complete security and peace of mind.

It has been observed that Electronic Surveillance at schools is a very effective mechanism to enhance

student safety, increase process automation, and enhance discipline among staff & students. These

systems, once deployed, also result in peace of mind for both school authorities and parents of school

children, as they have easy access to information.

• Attendance Automation – As pupil enter the school, the School Attendance Monitoring system

captures their presence and updates their attendance in the central attendance monitoring system.

Using options like RFID Gater (13.56MHz) or UHF RFID readers, it shall be possible to integrate

the attendance system of school – without students having to wait in queues for their turn

• Protect Children – The whole point of this project is to protect the children who regularly travel

by bus. In the current climate and societies deteriorating values it seems imperative to have

another set of remote eyes in the bus at all times. Young children that go to and from school can


be easy prey for predators. Just the presence of CCTV cameras is considered to be one of the

biggest deterrents to illegal activity

• Protect and check drivers - Bus drivers must put a lot of faith in their passengers, acting

appropriately. Unfortunately, one never knows what sort of mischief children get upto on the bus

on any given day. The presence of onboard security cameras can help in deterring and

investigating unacceptable behavior. It also helps keep a check on the drivers and conductors to

make sure they’re performing their duties to an acceptable level. Furthermore, deployment of

crimes involving specific suspects whose images may be uncovered.

3.1. REMOTE DRISHTEE’S GPS TRACKING SOLUTION FOR SMART SCHOOLS

The School Bus GPS Tracking provides real time location of your child while he or she is travelling in

school bus. You get notification as to when your child enters or alights from the bus via messaging along

with the location and time of the activity. The estimated time of arrival of school children can also be

notified to parents. Using RFID reader along with GPS, it shall be feasible to also inform parents about

presence of their ward in school bus.

4. REMOTE DRISHTEE’S ATTENDANCE MONITORING SOLUTION FOR SCHOOLS

Attendance taking is a critical school process that consumes considerable time each day at schools. At

RemoteDrishtee.com, we enable central attendance logging through RFID based systems

are designed for high performance channel management applications. The series support fast tag anti-

collision and read/write operations (include EAS function of NXP tag). Equipped with main/auxiliary

channel antenna, 4 line infrared motion detection sensor, control board and standard RS232, RS485 serial

communication ports and RJ45 (TCP/IP) network port, the series are top choice for open mass flow RFID

applications, such as: Conference Attendance, Access Control, Library Entrance Control, Process Control,

etc

6. SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT (SLAS)

The services being provided by REMOTEDRISHTEE.COM shall be governed by SLAs to be

mutually agreed the time of contract.


7. COMMERCIAL

The pricing for the school shall be computed upon inspection of the school premises and

discussion on the attendance procedure.

Typical cost of student attendance (Bus Attendance OR School Attendance) as-a-service

for a school with ~2000 students is estimated at about INR30/-+taxes per student per

month, but this is only as estimation and the actual fee will vary from school to school.

The above computation does not include the one time card purchase by school that shall

be charged additionally.
