  • Proposed Alternative 1.Add 2 L-shaped exterior walls to left and right of proposed bathroom and mechanical room for expansion via existing exterior doorways. 2.Lower ceiling height over central portion of interior. 3.Add new concrete sidewalk pads in front of entrance doors (east side) 4.Construct flat roof over lowered ceiling and behind faade to accommodate exterior HVAC components. With support rod for faade with possible gabled roof with ventilation or no gabled roof. 10

  • Results of Proposed Alternate Mechanical room is enlarged for electrical panels inside. Exterior HVAC noise dissipated upwards away from visitors, and components hidden from view. Depot building not isolated from rest of campus Potential to use 200+/- of raised ground at same elevation as building for stage area facing rest of campus. Exterior electrical panel @HVAC could service holiday lighting and/or festival/stage lighting. Extremely long distance from proposed parking lot to Primary Entrance can be addressed with steps/ramp from 11 th street, or other solution. 14

  • Other Issues with existing plans Museum side is marked for dual-use as conference room plus reception room. Primary Entrance is very long distance from proposed parking area and sole handicapped parking space. ADA toilet area very small.* Multi-angle dividing wall for mechanical room gives appearance of an after-thought.* *Proposed Solution addresses these issues 15
