(Amendment No. **) Order 20** 1. The Council of the London Borough of Hounslow propose to make the above-mentioned

Order under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general effect of the Disabled Persons Parking Places Order would be to further

amend the Hounslow (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No.1) Order 2008 to designate and amend disabled parking places in the streets detailed in Schedule 1and 2 to this Notice. Additionally, the disabled parking bays listed in Schedule 3 this to notice will be revoked as they are no longer needed.

3. Documents giving detailed information of the proposed Orders can be viewed for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice: (a) On the Council’s website at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices”

in the search bar; or (b) at the Forms and Documents Counter, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow

TW3 4DN between 9am and 4.15pm Mondays to Friday.

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing stating the grounds of the objection to the Head of Traffic, Transport & Environmental Strategy to the address above or by email to [email protected] quoting the reference TMO/P023/18 to be received by no later than Friday 29 June 2018

STATEMENT OF REASONS Proposed disabled parking bays & disabled permit parking bays The proposed Order: (a) introduces additional disabled parking places to assist holders of the blue

badge to park nearer to their place of residence and minimise walking distances. In all cases, the existing parking situation means that it is virtually impossible to park close to their home and this causes much distress and discomfort and this should resolve these difficulties

(b) removes existing parking places as these are no longer needed by the original

applicants.

The Council of the London Borough of Hounslow, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984a as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the London Borough of Hounslow (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (2008, No.1) (Amendment No. **) Order 20** and shall come into operation for all purposes on ** ***** 20**.

2. In this Order,

"the Order of 2008” means the Hounslow (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No.1) Order 2008b

3. Without prejudice to the validity of anything done or to any liability incurred by the coming into operation of the Order, the Order of 2008 shall have affect as thought:

(a) the items numbered **, **, ** and ** were added to Schedule 2 to that Order with the items similarly numbered and set out in the Schedule to this Order; and

The Council of the London Borough of Hounslow, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984a as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the London Borough of Hounslow (Free Permit Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (Amendment No. **) Order 20** and shall come into operation for all purposes on ** ****** 20**.

2. In this Order,

"the Order of 2016” means The London Borough of Hounslow (Free Permit Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) Order 2016b

3. Without prejudice to the validity of anything done or to any liability incurred by the coming into operation of the Order, the Order of 2016 shall have affect as thought:

(a) the items numbered **, ***, and *** were added to the Schedule to that

Order with the item similarly numbered and set out in the Schedule to this Order
