The Bombay Art Society’s l29th Online All India Annual Art Exhibition 2021Call for Entries from Students/Professional ArtistsDigital Entries SubmissionResolution: Digital Images of Actual Exhibits must be 2100 pixels in width(horizontal Images) or 2100 pixels in height (vertical images) not larger than 3000 pixels in width or height. Example: A digital image measuring 5 x 7 inches at 300 dpi (dots per inch) wold be 1500 pixels x 2100 pixels.

File Format: Images must be in JPEG format(with a .jpg extension). Save the images at maximum quality with as little compression as possible. File names must include the Artist’s name, Category (Painting/Sculpture/Graphics/Drawing) Title of exhibit, Dimension (in inches with Height first) and medium used to create the art work. Also include price in Indian Rupees.

Note: Please give the total price of the artwork including 12% GST and 25% Bombay Art Society’s commission on sale. If artwork is sold, artist’s will receive 63% of total price mentioned after deducting 12% GST and 25% society’s commission

ELIGIBILITYOpen to all artists of Indian nationality, working in any style.

ENTRYEach participant can submit multiple entries in every category.

SIZE:This year there is no restriction on size/weight of entries as they will be exhibited online.

ACCEPTANCE:a) All entries to be made digitally on bombayartsociety@gmail.com between 15 December 2020 to 31 January 2021b) Students will be required to produce bona-fide certificate issued by the educational institute to which they belong.c) Society will have full right to refuse entry without stating any reason whatsoever.

JUDGINGThe decision of the Jury will be final in the matter of selection and Judging and no Communication on the subject will be entertained. Judging committee will not assign any reason for their decisions.

CATALOGUEa) Each selected participant will get a complimentary copy of the digital catalogue.b) The Society reserves the right to reproduce any entry for the catalogue or for the purpose of publicity.

SALEThe exhibit selected for the exhibition will be offered for sale. All sales will be negotiated by the Society. The Society will retain 25% donation from the stated or negotiated price. The rest of the amount will be paid to the artist.

PHOTOGRAPHY Rules are subject to change by the Managing Committee. Categories in Photography are as follows. (1) Portrait (2) Landscape (3) Pictorial (4) Wildlife (5) Creative (6) Abstract (7) Digital (8) Still Life.Note: Photographs should not be older than 2019.
