I have the proud privilege to head the
International Society for Human Welfare &
Rehabilitation (ISHWAR) as its Founder President.
The society works for the physically disabled and I am confident the institute will provide
the underprivileged. Starting out with helping a few world class education in CPO disciplines with
children monetarily for education, the Society now considerable amount of practical handling at

The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) was set up as a registered society in 1986. During September, 1992
the RCI Act was enacted by Parliament and it became a Statutory Body on 22 June 1993. The Act was amended
by Parliament in the year 2000 to make it more broard based. The mandant given to RCI is to regulate and
monitor services given to persons with disability to standardize syllabi and to maintain a Central Rehabilitation
Registration of all qualified professional and personnel working in the field of Rehabilitation and Special
Education.The Act also prescribes punitive action against unqualified person delivering service to persons with
disability.

Orthotics (IIPO) is a specialised training Institute run
by International Society for Human Welfare and
Rehabilitation (ISHWAR), a Delhi based NGO
working for poor disabled.
Aims & Objectives
1. To train and educate, at certificate, diploma,
undergraduate and postgraduate levels,
Orthotists & Prosthetists of outstanding
ability who may become leaders in the
profession.

The Institute Library is equipped with a range of learning Resources Comprising all the required text & reference books
supportive text materials to the curriculum, national & international journals & periodiocals related to Prosthetics, Orthotics
& related rehabilitation topics. Internet facilities are also made available to the students. The Library also includes books on
linked disciplines such as Anatomy , Physiology, Workshop technology, Orthopedidics etc.
Workshop
Students benefit from training in a fully equipped Prosthetic & Orthotic workshop allowing them to hone
their skills and learn on real life clients under highly capable supervision of experienced faculity

Examination
All examination will be conducted according to the regulation of institution authorized by
Rehabilitation Council of India. Ninety percent (90%) attendance is compulsory in theory, practical,as well as fieldwork.
