ADMISSION
Possession of a form does not mean that admission is granted.
Any student is eligible for seeking admission to First Year of
degree course under following conditions.
Faculty Eligibility (Ref. Circular 82/2012-13 of
Savitribai Phule Pune University.)
Arts and Commerce H.S.C. or Equivalent with English as
passing subject.
Science H.S.C. or equivalent with English and
any three of Physics, Chemistry, Biology,
Mathematics, Geography

photo copies i) Leaving certificate from previousinstitutions.
ii) Marklist of previous year.iii) Cast certificate duly verified in
case of reserved candidates.iv) Migration certificate in case of

Foreign and NRI students are not directly admitted to the Collegefor any course of University.
These students must obtain necessary permission from Universityauthorities and complete the formalities prescribed by the University.Such students will be governed by rules framed by the University, Collegeand other concerned authorities from time to time.
The students coming from other than Maharashtra State may begiven admission to the respective courses depending upon availability ofvacancies in accordance with eligibility norms prescribed by the
University.
The fees payable by the students for the various courses will be as per
the fees prescribed by the Savitribai Phule Pune University. Refund offees if any, shall be according to the University rules prescribed from timeto time. A student once enrolled in the College must pay the fees for theentire year even if he/she leaves the College in the middle of the term andeven if his/her name is struck off from the College roll.
Students of the College are eligible for Government freeship if they
belong to the following categories :

The Government freeships are awarded for a period of one year only.
A student holding such a scholarship/freeship must, therefore, apply
afresh every year before the date specified by the Government.
In case a student is not awarded the freeship, he/she must pay entire
the College fees.
The following scholarships are also available to deserving students :
For Non-Hindi speaking students, the Govt. offers scholarship for day
students valued at Rs. 75/- per month only. The scholarship is available
to a student who offers Hindi as a general and special subject in S.Y.B.A.
and T.Y.B.A. Classes.
The students holding these scholarships must submit an Annual
Progress Report of the continuance of these scholarships every year.
Notice regarding this will be displayed on the notice board. Students are
advised to look out for notices in this regard.
Cancellation of Admission and refund of fees : (As per the order
dated 24/03/2011. ef. Number-PUS/542 dated 17/02/2011)
For candidates who cancel their admissions before commencement of
the course for the said academic year-his/her entire fee (after deduction
of processing fee of not more than Rs. 1000/-) shall be refunded to the
student.
If the student cancels his/her admission after the commencement of
course following scheme will be adapted for the refund of total fees :
Time of cancellation Amount to be deducted
1) 1st - 10th day of seeking admission 20% of total fees
2) 11th day - 30 days 40% of total fees
3) After 30 days 100% of total fees
Fees Concessions
Fee concession to students are available as per the rules and regulations
of Govt. of Maharashtra.
Note : For claiming all types of scholarships a student has to
compulsorily fill the online application form (website -
maharashtra.gov.in link e-schoalrship)
After filling the online application form, the student has to
submit the hard copy to the office and get an acknowledgement.
Students are advised to check the Scholarship notice board
regarding details of various scholarships from time to time.

T.Y. B. Sc. (Semester Pattern Semester III and IV)
Admission to T.Y.B.Sc. will be on the basis of preferences opted and
merit of marks. A student will offer one subject out of the three subjects
he/she had opted at S.Y. B.Sc. This will be his/her Principal subject.
The student of Division A may choose one of the following subjects as his/

This course is approved by U. G. C. Delhi.
The objective of the scheme is to prepare first degree graduates who are
trained in skills that are needed for handling specific job and who are
acceptable to the job market for gainful employment.

The college is having well equipped laboratories in biotechnology,
microbiology, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry and Electronic
Science. B.Sc. Electronic Science, B.Sc., Biotechnology streams have
Nanotechnology course at preliminary level, the instrumentation
presently available in these department is well sufficient for the
B.Sc. (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology). We have Intake of 320 to
B.Sc. pure Science, 160 at B.Sc. Computer Science, 45 at B.Sc.
Biotechnology. Our college is also having student placement center and
also established Industry Academia association for the benefit of the

The SPPU instituted the innovative Bachleors in Science degree knownas B.Sc. (Blended) in collaboration with the University of Melbourne(UOM), Australia and the Indian Institute of Science Education andResearch Pune (IISERP) to strengthen science education at theundergraduate level. Our college has applied to SPPU for grantingpermission to start this course in the college from academic year 2016-2017. The process of sanctioned for this course from Government ofMaharashtra is in process.

Eligibility
Duration The duration of B.Sc. Blended Degree Program shall be three years.
Medium of
Instruction
The medium of instruction fo the course shall be English.
The course is a semester and credit system based course and it dividedinto six semesters of 14 weeks each. The total number of credits foreach semester is 23 making a total of 92 credits during the first twoyears with instruction in all the four subjects (Biology, Chemistry,Mathematics and Physics). In the third year, the student specializes inone of the subjects.
The course is based on credit system and the examination process consistsof two parts: continuous assessment (internal 50%) and end semesterexamination (50%) with 50% each. The internal assessment will consistof one mid semester examination and at least two quizzes one beforethe mid semester and after mid semester. The grading will be as perthe university norms applicable to credit system.
Dates for commencement and conclusion for the first and second termswill be declared by the University authorities. Terms can be kept byonly duly admitted students. The term shall be granted only on minimum80 percent attendance at theory and practical course and satisfactoryperformance during the term.

changing and challenging requirements of business world, there is a
growing demand of young, energetic skilled and professionally qualified

B.B.A. & B.C.A., B.B.M (IB), M.C.A.(Com), M.Com (E-Com), are some
of the new courses which have been specially designed to meet the demand
of skilled and qualified manpower required by modern business.
These courses provide platform and create foundation for the
ambitious students who wish to do M.B.A., M.C.A. after completing their
graduation. The BBA, BCA courses will certainly help the students to

Linkages : College has established linkages with several leading
institutions so as to be able to get the benefit of their services, expertise
in the relevant field e.g. Maharatta Chamber of Commerce, MITCON,
MCED, Pune Stock Exchange, Bank of Maharashtra and other well-known
research and development institutions.
Eligibility
Candidates securing 40% or above in H.S.C. or equivalent
examination from any stream with English as passing subject are eligible.
Selection on the basis of Entrance examination conducted by
Savitribai Phule Pune University and merit and reservations as per the
rules of Savitribai Phule Pune University. Vacant seats will be filled in
through the entrance test conducted by the college.
Structure of B.B.A.Duration : The Course shall be a full time course and the duration of
the course shall be of three years.

Eligibility :
(i) A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree course in
Bachelor of Business Administration shall have passed 12th Std.
Examination (H.S.C. 10+2) from any stream with English as passing
subject and has secured 40% marks at 12th Std.
(ii) Two years Diploma in Pharmacy after H.S.C., Board of Technical
Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its
equivalent.
(iii) Three Year Diploma Course (after H.S.C., i.e. 10th Standard) of Board
of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra
or its equivalent.
(iv) MCVC
(v) Every eligible candidate has to pass a Common Entrance Test to be
conducted by the respective Institute / College.
Medium of Instruction :
Medium of instruction shall be in English only.
Scheme of Examination :
The B.B.A. Examination will be 3600 marks divided into 3 parts as
per details given below:
(i) B.B.A. Part I (Sem I, II) Aggregate marks 1200
(ii) B.B.A. Part II (Sem III, IV) Aggregate marks 1200
(iii) B.B.A .Part III (Sem V, VI) Aggregate marks 1200
There will be written Examination of 80 marks 3 hrs duration for
every course at the end of each Semester. The class work will carry
20 marks in each course. For Courses in Industrial Exposure (Sem
III, IV) there will be viva voce examination of 20 marks and for
Written Report and Industrial visits 80 marks. For course on Project
work (Sem VI) there will be oral presentation test consisting of 20
marks and Written Report of 80 marks.

Structure of B.C.A. :
Eligibility :
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the degree course in
bachelor of Computer Application shall have passed 12th std
examination (H.S.C 10+ 2) from any stream with English as Passing
subject and has secured 40% marks at 12th std. Relaxation of 5% of
marks at 12th std for reserved category students.

Admission Procedure :
An eligible candidate has to appear for a Common Entrance Test (CET)
conducted by the College. Students are required to apply to the college
and admission will be offered as per a merit list based on CET score.
In case requisite number of candidates is not available for admission
through CET, the college will conduct a separate entrance
examination.
Rules for attendance :
Every student is expected to have 100% attendance (min 75%
attendance is compulsory). Al the Students are also expected to
participate actively in the seminars and extra curricular activities
organized by the college, in their own interest.
Duration : The duration of the B.C.A. Degree Program shall be three
years divided into six semesters.
