How does an In-Ground Pet Fence work?A buried cable is installed around the perimeter of your property, establishing your pet’s Invisible Boundary® Area. A discreetly placed Control Panel sends a signal along the buried cable which is detected by each of your pets’ Computer Collar® Receivers. When the signal is detected, a safe static correction is given reminding your pets of their boundaries.

Is it safe? Will it hurt my pet?Yes. It is safe. And no. It will not hurt your pet. Your pets are in control at all times whether or not they receive a correction. They are trained to respond to an audible tone and the static correction. Most pets only feel a static correction once or twice and then don’t test the boundary any more. Also, there are millions of correction level combinations, so our professional, certified trainers can customize the perfect setting for each of your pets based on their personality and temperament.

What does the static correction feel like?The correction from the Computer Collar® Receiver is similar to the sensation you feel when you run your hand across a TV screen, or when you walk across a carpet and touch a metal doorknob.

Will it work on my pet?We do everything possible to ensure success. Because we start with hands-on training that is based on science and canine behavior, we help change your pet’s behavior in a way that they naturally respond to.
