Client Profile: Non-profit independent school. Student population composed of many nationalities. Student parents are part of the international business community or diplomatic corps.
Background: On a three-day class fieldtrip a student fell out of the transportation vehicle and suffered a fatal head injury. The parents of the students filed a suit against the school
Resolution: The school having had the foresight to include a general liability and personal accident insurance policy was able through the insuring company to compensate the parents of the student.
