About Our CEO• Claudia is a 35 year industry professional and a
subject matter expert on the topic of Background Screening Technology. Prior to assuming the role of CEO, she worked for a government entity in the greater SF Bay Area for over 28 years. She was a trusted liaison with local law enforcement including the FBI.
• Before Protection Plus Solutions, Claudia owned Unity Marketing Group (UMG) from 2000 through 2006. UMG was a Direct Sales Company that had contracts with Comcast among others. While operating UMG, Claudia saw first hand the need for high-level, reasonably priced background screening tailored to the cable industry. Using her inside knowledge of the criminal recordkeeping, personal background records systems, and door-to-door Sales, Protection Plus Solutions was born.

PerfectRECORD™ researches all names, addresses, and dates of birth uncovered by a thorough SS# trace. Plus it also checks National criminal records database which includes information from the following sources: Multi-State Sex Offender Database, OFAC, the FBI Terrorist List, Federal/State/Local Wanted Fugitive Lists.

County Criminal Search Provides criminal record searches in any U.S. County.
These searches are accessed via the Clerk of Courts Office in the specific county responsible for the applicant's current and/or former resident, and/or work addresses. We search felony and/or misdemeanor indexes (involving statutory offenses), for the past 7 years. Each address location that resides within a different jurisdiction is considered a separate criminal record search. In a situation where an applicant has multiple names, each name will require a separate search.

panel urine drug screening are available at thousands of collection sites throughout the United States. Testing is performed at certified laboratories, and results reviewed by Medical Review Officers. Results are reported to you securely within 24 to 72 hours. Drug screens can be customized to meet your specific hiring needs. We will provide you with the nearest clinic available to you via zip code and provide test results through our online service processing.

A county criminal search is necessary
Our BG reports are color coded: red for FAIL and green for PASSWe provide alerts of potential issues, and a list of county criminal checks that need to be ordered. Ordering a County Criminal Search can be done with a click of a button while reviewing the report.
If Your Company or partner decides not to hire a candidate, the built in pre-adverse button generates a custom letter with BG report, and emails it to the rep for full FCRA compliance.
Many clients were not doing this step before they came to PPS, so we have made it extremely simple and easy to use!
