Proverbs 15:19 The way of the
slothful man is as an hedge
of thorns: but the way of the
righteous is made plain.
Trying to find an easy way usually makes
the way more difficult.

A lazy man or woman will work harder trying to
get out of work, than they would to do the work.

Proverbs 5 12 And say, How have I hated instruc-
tion, and my heart despised reproof; 13 And have
not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined
mine ear to them that instructed me!
Proverbs 18:1 (TLB) 1 The selfish man quarrels

Isaiah 35 8 And an
highway shall be
there, and a way, and it
shall be called The Way
of Holiness; the unclean
shall not pass over it;
but it shall be for those:
the wayfaring
men, though fools, shall
not err therein.
Don’t take a shortcut!
Walk straight down
the Highway.

Proverbs 15:20 A wise son maketh
a glad father: but a foolish
man despiseth his mother.
Don’t care that they are
breaking their mother’s heart.
They are
fools.

21 Folly is joy to him that is
destitute of wisdom: but a
man of understanding
walketh uprightly.
They think they are
having fun.
They are mean and
stupid.
A man who is living by every Word of God has
understanding and will enjoy a good life.

Psalm 15 1 LORD, who shall abide in Thy
tabernacle? who shall dwell in Thy holy hill? 2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh
righteousness, and speaketh the Truth in his heart.
Upright is what God says it is.
A man of understanding walketh uprightly.
He is honest with himself and with God.

John 15 11 These things
have I spoken unto
you, that My joy might
remain in you, and that
your joy might be full.
