Brain Health Workshop 15-May 10:30 a.m.

Feeling forgetful? Not as sharp as you used to be? Are you between 40 and 79? Do you

possess basic computer skills? Baycrest Hospital, a world leading memory and aging

institute, is coming to host a free brain health workshop, which will provide you with a

science-based answer to the question, "Is my Memory Normal?" Please register at the

front desk.

Cyber Security Workshop 22-May 10:15 a.m.

The office of US Senator Mark Warner will be hosting a Cybersecurity Workshop for

Seniors. Learn how to protect yourself from electronic fraud and what to do when it

Teens in Action After-School Monday - Friday 3 - 6 p.m.

Activities and programs for youth 7th - 12th grade. The Teen program is designed to

help teens build positive relationships, develop skills for good decision making,

improve their personal resiliency, and most importantly, have fun! Teens can use the

gym, game room, arts & crafts room, and the multipurpose room Monday - Friday,

from 3 - 6 p.m.

Teen Leadership Council Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

The Youth Leadership council is designed to educate and motivate high school students

to become engaged citizens and leaders in their community. Students participate in

the weekly learning sessions, and act as "ambassadors" for the center. Students learn

about local government's role in their everyday lives and are given an opportunity to

interact with county leaders and policy-makers. Students will also gain the skills

necessary to become future leaders.

This program offers a balanced mix of academic support and recreational activities to

guide learning and engage participants in grades 7th - 12th. Some recreational

activities include arts & crafts, sports, literature/writing, music, cooking, photography,

S.T.E.A.M., and leadership activities. Snacks are served at 4 p.m. daily.

Come reduce your stress by enjoying music in a vibroacousitic beanbag, massage pad,

This program is coordinated with Fairfax County Infant and Toddler Connection and

registration for this program is done through the ITC . Ages 0-3 years of age experience

Chime Through Your Senses Thursday 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.Adults and seniors attend the sensory room weekly for sensory exploration and

relaxation. This program is in coordination and reserved for Chimes Day Program.

Inclusive program is designed for children 9 months -23 months of age. Little ones
