Piping is easily done with the patented casing as it can be mounted both on walls and in the ceiling. The installation of the casing is easy and it also allows pressing tools to be used on the pipes as one side of the casing is hinged. Corners and joints are easily covered with the special modules developed for this purpose. The pipe clamps are rotated into place in the tracks inside the casing. These can later be moved laterally if needed. All corners and joints are covered by modules that are easily clicked into place. The overlapping of the modules (15mm) covers small cutting errors. When the piping is completed the pipes can be insulated with max. 9mm thick insulation. After insulating the pipes the lid can be installed. The rigid casing gives a neat and professional end result which is relished by all parties. The casing is also easy to wipe down and keep clean and hygienic. The lid and modules can be easily removed for inspections and service. PS-100 is constructed for pipes with outer diameters of 15-20 mm and PS-160 is constructed for pipes with outer diameter of 15-26mm with a circulation pipe diameter of 12-16mm.

The PS-160 Casing can also be used with other pipe dimension and insulation thicknesses if other pipe clamps are used. The product is developed with pipe renovations (pipe renewals and replacements) but it can also be used for other purposes where enclosure is desirable.

To be checked before installing the casings

• All parts need to be room temperature before mounting ( > 15ºC ).• The product need to be checked by the installer before mounting.• The protective plastic is easiest removed before installation. • Both the casing and -he modules can be cleaned with a damp cloth if needed.• Maximum allowed heat load on the casing is 60ºC

When the casings are mounted against the ceiling or corners a minimum of 5mm distance is to be left to allow installation of modules. PS-1003/1006 can be used to measure a suitable distance.

The cable holder PS-1008 can be used as a guidence piece to stabilise joints.

Casing with lid 1. The required lenght of the casing is cut and mounted withthe recommeded screws. 2 screws are recommended for PS-100 and 3 for PS-160, one in each guidance groove for the pipe clamps. A maximum distance of 600mm isrecommended between fastening points.

2. The casing should be mounted so that the hinged wall can be freely opened. The black marking line on the back of the casing indicates the side that is hinged.

3. When a joint is made it is recommended to install a cableholder to retain the alignment between the two pieces.

The inner corners require a distance of 55mm for the PS-100 and 70mm for the PS-160 to enable the mounting of the lid. PS-1010 and PS-1611 can be used to measure the needed distance.

Recommended fastening screw types

Pipe clamp with lock 1. When the casing has been mounted the pipe clamps areplaced against the bottom of the casing and rotated into place. The distance between the clamps shall be in agree-ment with local regulations.

2. The locks are pressed into place after the pipes have been installed. PS-1001/1002/1009 are used in the PS-100 casing and PS-1601/1602/1603/1604/1605 are used in the PS-160 casing PS-X1512 is used to reduce the 15mm clamps to 12mm. Cable holder

Joint piece and gable 1. When two or more pieces of casing is required to achieve the required lenght it is recommended to use the joint piece to cover the joints. When the channel has been mounted and the lid put into place the joint piece is installed on top of the joint. The piece covers a gap of up to 15mm between the two pieces of casing. This module also enables use fo shorter rest pieces reducing the amount of waste material. PS-1003 is used on the PS-100 casing and PS-1606 on the PS-160 casing. 2 The joint piece can also be used as an end piece against thewalls. 3. The gable is mounted when the lid is in place. The gable is pushed into place from the end of the casing.

Inner corner, outer corner and 90° bend The corner pieces are mounted after the lid has been put into place.

1. The modules covers a maximum distance deviation of 15mm.

2. The outer corners is installed. PS-1004 is used for the PS-100casing and PS-1607 for the PS-160 casing.

3. The inner corner is installed. PS-1005 is used for the PS-100casing and PS-1608 is used for the PS-160 casing.If there are irregularities in the surface of the wall/corner thensandpaper or a file can be used to adjust the fit of the module.Pay close attention to the distance between the casing and the wall when installing the inner corners. PS-100 reuires a 55mm distance and PS-160 requires a 70mm distance to care free application of the lids.

4. The 90° bend is installed. The module covers a maximumdistance deviation of 15mm. PS-1006 is used for PS-100 and PS-1609 is used for PS-160.

3. The cable holder is clicked into the groove closes to the hinged side at an approimate distance of 300mm. The distance can be adjusted accordign to need. The same piece fits both PS-100 and PS-160.
