6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.KEY: God's goodness and mercy (favor we don't deserve) and "I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever" are promises to encourage our children to always stay close to God.)(NOTE: Girl is "Shirley Temple" = Surely, WOOD on the tree = GOODness,Mermaid = MERCY , these 3 will follow us.)

2. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

KEY: God wants us to have times of rest. GREEN pastures can represent being watered from the living water of God's Word and His presence. He also wants to lead us to a place of PEACE.

1. Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

KEY: God watches over us and cares for us like a Good Shepherd cares for his sheep. We can trust God. The words. "I shall not want" mean we will not be "in want" of anything. God will provide for our needs.

3. He restores my soul;He leads me in paths of righteousnessFor His name's sake.KEY: Our SOUL is our mind, will and emotions. God will restore our soul. He will lead us and give us His wisdom and direction when we don't know the way to go, for His glory!

4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me. Your rod and staff, they comfort me.

KEY: This is a very helpful verse when facing the death of a loved one, or a difficult situation. We don't need to fear death (or anything), because God us with us. His "rod and staff" is the Word of God and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. (NOTE: the COMB-FORT = COMFORT)

5. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil;My cup runs over.

KEY: God provides for us, even when we are surrounded by people who are against us. God will anoint us, even to overflowing.
