He had so many trees in his village but when they moved to thecity centre,he felt like he needed to plant a tree but he didntknow how to. Kim looked into a shopping site and picked outone of the seeds and started to wait for it to be delivered

Finally, the seed was delivered but he had a problem in plantingHis grandfather dealth with the problem and

they planted the seed. Years later,he came to

see that tree.Kim sat beneath the tree and

thought if he contributed world to be better

place or not. While thinking,he fall asleep

under the tree.

TYPE 1 PREPOSITIONAL PASSIVES

* They’re whole verb and their prepositionscannot be changed . Whenchanged, meaning of the verb would be completly different.These prepositionalverbs can be found on dictionary. including: idiomatic phrases, phrasal verbs

For Exp: "Pick out" is on dictionary." out" cannot be changed here.

- A shopping site was looked into by Kim.

-One of the seeds was picked out by Kim

-The problem was dealt with by thegrandpa

TYPE 2 PREPOSITIONAL PASSIVES

*These verbs’ prepositions can be alteredaccording to the situation. Meaning of theverb doesn’t change completely. Thesekind of prepositional verbs cannot be found on dicitonary.

For Exp: " sit under " isn't on thedictionary"Under" can be changed and the wholemeaning doesnt wipe out.

- The tree was fallen asleep under

INTRANSTIVE VERBS*We can make intranstive verbs transtive oneby adding preposition after the verb.

It is not possible to make pseudo a passivesentence if the sentence has two objects ( prepositional object and direct object).

Someone has put a child in this bunk.

This bunk has been put a child in. (unacceptable)

It would be acceptable if it were

‘’A child has been put in this bunk’’
