    How To Develop Your Psychic Powers

    IntroductionEveryone has telepathic powers and almost everyone can rememberan incident to prove so; for instance, you phone a friend whom youhavent spoken to for years but you cannot get through because theline is engaged. Ten minutes later your phone rings and your longlost friend says I just tried to ring you but it was engaged.

    Th is booklet is split into two parts. The first part tells you howto recognize and increase your powers in telepathy and the secondpart will show you how to use them to help change your life.

    PART ONE

    Everyone possesses two types of thinking. For convenience I shallname these types as conscious and subconscious thought.

    Conscious Thought

    These are the thoughts you have during the day about events thatare occurring, things you must do, problems you want to solve, etc.

    Subconscious Thought

    The main examples of subconscious thought are dreams. Every-one dreams continuously from the time that they fall asleep until thetime that they are awake. However, you will never remember yourdreams unless you are awakened suddenly during them.

    You have subconscious thoughts all day too, but just like yourdreams, you are normally unaware of them.

    Just before you fall asleep, your mind reaches a stage where at thesame time as you are thinking conscious thoughts about whathappened during the day, your subconscious is creating weird andwonderful images and pictures. Try this exercise:

    EXERCISE 1

    When you are lying in bed, waiting to go to sleep, imagine you are

    in a dark room and you cannot see a thing. At the same time tryto notice if you can see any other images. These will often flashand develop in the darkness without you seeming to think aboutthem. Once you get used to them they will appear so fast andfurious that you may end up forgetting what you see.

    To help you in recognizing them, here are some examples:Quite often faces will appear, but you do not know who they are.

    I once saw an image of two common blue butterflies sitting in abowl of white rice!

    I also saw a vision when I was imagining a postman emptying aletterbox, but instead of opening the front of the letterbox he wasopening the door to a fridge to collect the post!

    This last example is one where the two types of thought mix. Iconsciously thought about the postman emptying the letterbox andsubconsciously saw him opening the fridge. It is here where thesecrets to your telepathic powers lie. If you dont seem to see anyimages like the ones I have described, dont worry! Nine timesout of ten you will have missed them because you were too tired.

    Make a habit of doing this exercise every time you go to bed andyou might be surprised at some of the results you record.

    Although this is not a dream book I will give you someinstructions to help you to remember your dreams as in section 2records of them will help you to see if the exercises you try are really

    working.

    Recording your dreams

    1) Keep a note pad and pen by your bedside. Write downeverything you can remember as soor. as you wake up.

    2) While in bed waiting to fall asleep keep repeating to yourself Iwill remember a dream when I wake up.

    3) If you wake up and can remem ber even the slightest detail of a

    dream record it immediately, otherwise you will forget it.4) You might like to set an alarm clock for, say, two hours after yougo to bed after which time you will have fallen asleep and begunto dream. Alternatively, get your partner to wake you up whileyou are in the REM stage (When you eyes are twitching).

    Test your powers of telepathy! Try this exercise:

    EXERCISE 2

    I recommend you to use a pack of zener cards for this exercise asthe shapes are very strong and clear but an ordinary pack of playingcards will suffice.1) Shuffle the cards and place them face down on the table.2) Go through the pack and try to predict what suit each card will

    be. Place them into two piles of correct and incorrect guesses.3) When you have gone through the pack, work out your scores in

    a table such as the one below.

    There will be a chance score, for instance, if you are predictingthe suits in a pack of cards; probability says that you will get 13

    correct as there are 13 cards in each suit. If you were using zenercards where there are 5 cards of 5 different shapes, your chance scorewould equal 5.

    The total number tested is the number of cards in the pack.

    If you predicted 13 or less correct, then no telepathy was involved.If your score was over 13, then something other than chance wasinvolved. You probably found that your score was not very good.

    Now repeat the excercise using the method below:1) Sit comfortably and relax. Make sure that there are no sounds

    that might distract you, e.g., televisions or music.2) For this exercise you will need to close your eyes so make a

    mental note of where you are going to put the cards, e.g., makea first pile of hearts, a second of diamonds, one of clubs and one

    of spades.3) Close your eyes and relax. Mentally count from 20 downwardswhilst you have your hand on the first card. At the same timeimagine which suit the card is going to be. You will probablysee the image of the shape of the suit, for instance, you see a

    picture of a red heart. Place this card (without opening youreyes) on the pile which you have set aside for hearts.

    4) Go through the pack in this way and place the cards you arepredicting on their relevant piles. You may have to count downfrom 20 before predicting each card but I think you will find thisis not necessary, unless you lose your concentration. The keyis to make sure that you are as relaxed and undistracted as

    possible. It is also importan t that you do not open your eyesduring this exercise as you will amost certainly lose yourconcentration.

    5) When you have finished, complete your score table as before bygoing through each pile and counting how many cards are of thecorrect suit fof that pile.

    You are now most likely to have a more positive score, proving

    that you have used your subconscious mind to predict the correctoutcomes.

    If your score is still 13 or below, dont worry! It may takepractise but soon your scores will increase rapidly.

    I suggest you do this last exercise once a day to help you toincrease your powers of telepathy. Do not, however, do theexercise more than once in a day as you will only be disappointedwith the results. Just the same as you lose your concentration youlose your telepathic powers.

    PART TWO

    In this part of the book I am going to make some suggestions onhow you could use your powers to alter your life.

    EXERCISE 3

    Are you short of money? Try this:1) While you are waiting to go to sleep, think about money.

    Worry about money. Th ink about all the bills you have topay and try to think of ways in which you might make money inorder to pay them.

    2) Set your alarm for a sensible time by which you know you willbe asleep.

    3) When you wake up write down any details of the dreams you arehaving. Your subconscious mind will have taken over andwhen you awake you will have a brilliant idea for how to makethat money!

    Here is another exercise to try. Imagine that you would like aprom otion at work.1) Repeat step 1 of the last exercise but imagining your boss is going

    to give you a promotion.2) Imagine every smallest detail. Imagine your boss in his office

    thinking about you, and dictating a letter to his secretary aboutthe offer of promotion to you. It is important to imagineeverything from the time of your boss thinking about it and tothe time you receive the letter. Even imagine the sound of thetypewriter.

    3) Carry on imagining until you fall asleep but this time dont wakeyourself up as you will interrupt your subconscious working.

    4) Wait for your letter!If you need something in a hurry try this:

    EXERCISE 4

    This is just an example for this exercise but you can use yourimagination to make it work for you.

    I was waiting to go out and had to leave at 7.00pm, but first Iwanted my father to come home from work to tell him where I wasgoing. I could not leave until he came back and it was five to.

    My father was already late and because he works very weird hours(he quite often starts at 2.00am!) I had no idea what time he wouldbe back so I did this exercise.1) I found a shiny object to concentrate upon (this time it was a glass

    ashtray!)

    2) I then gazed into the ashtray and counted from 1 to 20 to relaxmyself.

    3) I imagined him saying to his workmate Ive had enough for oneday, Im going home now.

    4) Whilst still looking into the ashtray (it was empty at the time!) Iimagined every little detail of him walking home, even down tothe sound of his boots crunching on the gravel.

    Sure enough, dead on 7.00pm he was home!Do you suffer from ill health? Try this:

    1) Lie on a bed or sit comfortably on an armchair.2) Imagine yourself on a warm beach tha t is calm and peaceful withthe suns rays beating down on you.

    3) Imagine a violet flame starting from your head and working downto your toes taking with it all the aches and pains.

    4) Wave goodbye to the flame as it goes from your body leaving youhealthy and fit.

    Self-confidence, Psychometry & Dowsing

    When I was younger I was extremely shy. At school I would siton my own in the corner of the classroom and when a teacher asked

    me a question I would literally tremble with nervousness. Now Iam extremely confident and outgoing and have all the friends I need.When I go for job interviews I am so confident that I usually getthe job, even if I am not qualified. When you read this book youwill find out how I did it.

    play Bingo. One week I decided that I couldnt really afford it.Using my method I realized that I ought to go. I went and won150.00!

    Introduction

    I am going to show you how to improve your lifestyle and answerthe questions you have always wanted to know.

    In Chapter 1 you will learn how to become more confident andattract more friends. Once you are confident about yourself youwill find that people have more confidence in you. Th is is reallythe key to your success.

    Chapter 2 uses psychometry to find out about other people.Psychometry is a sense that people already possess from birth and

    needs no practise or experience. You can gain results from thischapter immediately and can have a great time trying it out withfriends and family.

    Dowsing is the method I have used in Chapter 3 to help you tofind out about your future. There are many other methods thatcould be used such as Tarot cards, the I ching, Astrology, but theseall take years and years to learn. Like most people, you will wantto find out now, and wont want to have to read through pages and

    pages of literature first.

    I have used all the methods contained in this booklet myself andfind them to be the most effective and the most practical. If youfollow the simple instructions and use a small amount of imagina-tion, you can also make them work for you.

    Think positively and confidently and you will receive all thethings in life that you have ever wanted. By knowing about yourdestiny you can control it and by knowing about other people, youcan control their actions.

    CHAPTER ONE

    How To Gain Confidence and Attract More Friends

    Gaining Confidence

    Confidence is the key to success. Some people are naturallyconfident in themselves and others have to learn. The people in

    life who have the best jobs, the most friends and the most moneyare those who are the most confident.

    The first step is to expel all of your negative though ts. Here aresome very simple examples:You took part in a quiz and scored twelve out of twenty.

    Negatively you th ink I got a lot of the questions wrong.Instead of thinking this, positively think I got more than half ofthem correct. When you next enter a competition, dont thinkIve never won anything in my life, tell yourself that somebodyhas to win and that this time it is going to be you.

    People who lack selfconfidence always assume that others arewatching them and laughing. This is not true. Do you yourselfdeliberately look at other people and joke about them? You alsohave to become more confident about the way you look. Very fewpeople th ink that they are attractive and if they do, then it shows

    that they are confident in themselves. Tell yourself that you areextremely good looking. Look in the mirror and become consciousabout your good features and ignore any that you are unhappyabout.

    Making friends

    Once you have learnt this, you are ready to make friends. Make

    a habit of talking to everyone and joining in conversation. Takean interest in your friends and other peoples hobbies. Remembernames and things that people have told you. Try to agree withtheir comments and if you dislike someone dont tell them so!

    Make a habit of going out and about and joining in with everybodyelse. You might also find that going out with friends whom youknow well will help you to increase your own confidence.

    Try to be more outgoing and interesting yourself. Find somehobbies of your own and join the local groups and societies. Youwill find here lots of people tha t want to make friends and it is much

    easier when you have something in common with them.If you work dont be afraid to invite people over to your house

    for drinks or a meal, even if they have never invited you. If youhave been asked to a party or something similar, don t say no. Youwill find that people are often more friendly when they dont haveall the pressures of work to worry about.

    CHAPTER TWO

    Finding Out About People Through Psychometry

    Some psychics have been able to help with police enquiries by usingpsychometry. There are many famous examples, including that ofthe Yorkshire Ripper. They have used clothing, objects found atthe scene of the crime, and even murder weapons to find out. thewhereabouts or the name of the true criminal.

    When somebody shakes your hand you immediately sense themood of that person. A strong handshake suggests friendlinessand a quick, light handshake suggests that the person may be shy

    or nervous. This is an example of psychometry.You can gain other peoples feelings by holding one of their

    belongings. Heres how:Borrow something from either a member of your family or a

    friend, for instance a watch. Put the watch on. W hat do youfeel?

    It could feel uncomfortable, suggesting that the person dislikesother people wearing it.

    When you receive a present, notice your impressions. Do you

    like it? You might think I dont particularly like it bu t I canmake use of it . The person who bought it for you probablythought Its not what I wanted to give, but its better thannothing.

    This is a good exercise to try, to see if you are receiving the correctimpressions:

    Invite a group of friends over to your house. Ask each of themto bring an object which you do not directly associate with them,and turn the lights out while they place them in a bag.

    Take each item out of the bag and remember or write down anyimpressions you receive from them . From your feelings, try andwork out to whom each object belongs.

    Your friends will soon tell you if you are right!It is believed tha t emotions are carried in the natural oils produced

    by the body. You should be able to pick them up from anythingthat person has touched.

    However it is logical to assume that items of jewellery and clothingwould contain more of the oils and would be by far the best itemsto use for psychometry.

    Photographs are also ideal as they can induce emotions of the eratha t they were taken in. They are also excellent for beginners assome of the emotions can immediately be picked up from the

    peoples expressions.

    CHAPTER THREE

    Answer Questions About Your Future By Dowsing

    Dowsing has been used successfully for many centuries to findwater, metals, oils and ores. It involves using a forked twig heldloosely in the hands and observing its movements.

    To dowse to find out about the future pendulums are morecommonly used. Anything can be used to make a pendulum, suchas a necklace with a charm or simply a piece of string tied arounda coin. The length of string or chain you use should ideally be

    between five to eight inches long.First practise influencing the movements of the pendulum by

    following these simple steps:1) Rest your elbow on a table with your arm upright holding the

    pendulum between your thumb and first finger.2) Relax the muscles in your arm and hand, still keeping your arm

    upright.3) Concentrate on the charm or coin and will it to move from side

    to side without moving your hand. As dowsing is so simple,you will probably find this happens within a few seconds.

    4) Will the pendulum to go faster and faster from side to side andthen slow it down. Now try to move it in a clockwise circle(dont forget, you must not move your hand).

    Make the circle wider and faster. When you have achieved

    this change the movement to an anticlockwise circle. As thisis quite tricky, you may have to slow it down again first.

    Practise this until you are confident that you are influencingthe movements of the pendulum without moving your hand.

    To find out more about your future using the pendulum completethe following exercise:1) Make a round board from a piece of card about eighteen inches

    in diameter. Mark on it the four points of the compass, the

    letters of the alphabet, numbers from one to ten, the wordsYes and No , and anything else you might like to use toanswer your questions. An example of a similar board isshown.

    2) Lay the board on a flat surface, lining it up to the four points of

    the compass.3) Continually repeat the question you wish to ask in your mind or

    out loud.4) Slowly move your hand with the pendulum over the board and

    will it to move in a circle when it reaches the answer.If the pendulum moves around a letter, carry on dowsing over

    the board and simply write down the letters to produce youranswer.
